America Finally Getting Sick of Obama

Americans are much smarter than our media or political leadership give us credit for

Well, it’s unanimous.

For the first time since this endless election cycle started, it appears that people are finally getting sick and tired of hearing about Barack Obama. Recent news reports show that large percentages of Americans believe Obama is completely over-exposed and given far too much praise and positive publicity. It would be nice if the nation could focus on a different subject, perhaps one that actually has some substance, but the mainstream media simply won’t allow that to happen. Instead of providing coverage of the facts needed to address American doubts over Obama, all we get is gleaming smiles on magazine covers and squishy, softball interviews, saturation coverage of Obama speaking to wooing German fans and Obama posing in family portraits or pictures portraying him as a regular guy bowling or playing basketball.

But America is now beginning to take a second look at the dapper media darling, his relationships, his voting record and his past statements. Americans are much smarter than our media or political leadership give us credit for. And since they refuse to level with us about Obama, Americans are finding out for themselves.

For many months, the backlash against the media’s fawning coverage of Obama has been growing. At first, the media issued stern denials that Obama was getting more favorable coverage, but then NBC’s Brian Williams finally admitted what we all knew: Obama was indeed receiving more favorable and more extensive coverage by the media...

At least for the timing factor, Hillary has this one figured just right!
Just my humble opinion, it all depends on the voters who never seem to have anything figured right....

Obama is just Al Sharpton with a college degree.

The best description of the felon I’ve seen.

And he is a felon. Read his book, he admits to doing cocaine and that boys and girls is a felony!

Our Government is Usless and becoming more so each day.

Not this time. This one is for all the marbles, for generations to come. Barry wants to dodge and weave his way into the White House. He won't even agree to more than three debates and no townhalls where the Average Joe could even get close to him. There has never been more of a sham politician in our country's history than this preening elitist. Obama simply makes McCain look better every day.

Has anyone noticed that the Barrak TV add shows “Barrack Obama President” not “Barack Obama for President?”

Rather, he is exactly what I’ve been saying all along:

An arugula-eating, socialist-leaning, hateful sermon spewing pastor-supporting, race-baiting, gun-seizing, marriage-destroying, baby-killing, tax-increasing, terrorist-sympathizing, job-killing, party-line toting liberal. Hardly a prescription for unity.

LOL!

“I often get the strong sense that the American people have some sick and sophomoric yearning for a new ROYAL FAMILY or BENEVOLENT KING to make their lives what they themselves feel incapable of making them without some nanny-state sovereign. Throughout history, with few exceptions conspicuous because of their rarity, those systems nearly always become malignant and freedom founders and eventually fails. With the exception of America – the IDEA, not the place – most men who have walked the earth have lived as slaves.”

You are right on money. Instead of the “I ain't need any blue blood tell me what to do or think” we have a Celebrity Cult replacing the old aristocracy, with fascination to what they, celebrities, are doing and saying. (I am using “we” loosely here, for the society not the freepers).

Its not healthy!

"Americans are much smarter than our media or political leadership give us credit for..."

That would have to be true. Otherwise, we would not even have the brainpower to read the paper or turn on the television set, much less understand what we were being told.

Obama reminds me of a human Clever Hans, but with a house full of combs and mirrors.

His seeming inability to operate effectively without a teleprompter being an important clue.

Clever Hans

Sad how our good neighbors to the north have to be the ones to point out this obvious truth to us. Then again, only the British were willing to take up the Enquirer’s scoop about John Edwards.

This really is a damning indictment of our major media. Hopefully the last reporter left will remember to turn out the lights.

A new player is coming to the presidential race—Vlad Putin.
What is happening in Georgia will kick the polar bears off the front page and show the American people that the world is a dangerous place. Who do we want talking to Putin? Obama or McCain? If we don’t want Russians to push us around we will need experience in the White House not an affirmative action president who really doesn’t know what to do.

Despite his best efforts to portray himself as the candidate most able to unite the country and bridge our vast differences,

The great uniter has done a great job of uniting the Democrats, hasn't he?

He can't even bridge the differences between the far left and the extreme left.

But it's beginning to look like he might actually be able to unite America by losing in a landslide. Americans don't agree on much these days, but if they send Obama down to humiliating and undeniable defeat in November, that will be more unity than I've seen in this country in many years.

eople call him the “Obamaessiah”, and that ain’t far from the truth... I find it very weird (and scry)that people treat him like some sort of demi-god rather than a poitical candidate with human flaws! Take this quote from a junior Obamaessiah staffer in Ohio (Identifying details redacted)...

“July 14th was a particuarly exciting day. It was the day that Barack spoke at the annual NAACP Convention here in downtown Cincinnati. At that morning’s staff meeting, our director told us that the NAACP had called and that they still needed a few more people to help out with the press during Obama’s speech. Of course, everybody in the office enthusiastically volunteered... (REDACTED)... Guess who got to go. Yes, that’s right, hard work really does pay off. I got to work the Convention along with one of my colleagues and a few of our stellar volunteers. I had never seen the man speak before and it was all that I imagined it to be and more. I even got to shake his hand! The experience made every 80-hour week with no days off totally worth it.”

“I even got to shake his hand”??? Who is he? A combination Rock Star/Pope/Reival tent preacher???

People get tired of a negative message, a downer, a bummer. Preaching to people that they need to feel guilty about their history. It was doomed to start imploding. It happened in the 1970s with Jimmy Carter's "malaise." People got tired of it. It literally made them tired. Eventually, they elected Reagan because they were tired of being preached down to by someone unhappy and depressed about his country. The Obama karma is running out of steam. Liberal white guilt is finite, not infinite. Preying upon that with an arrogant and smug sense of entitlement can never be a basis for leading this country. People will get tired of that. And they won't want to hear it anymore.

It's no big "Secret." It's the basic "Law of Attraction." Negative energy turns people away.

The Obama Malaise guilt trip would never work. It goes against American culture. They see a well-paid, well-fed, Harvard-educated, smug, condescending, pampered beneficiary of affirmative action and see the con game. That's a bad cultural fit for "Reagan Democrats."

That preachy voice gets on people's nerves, too.

This is what Hitlery has been maintaining for year now -— correctly, in my judgment. As bad as he is, McCain couldn’t have wished for a more favorable contest.
