ABC Radio news just announced Sen. John Edwards will admit to the affair with Rielle Hunter in an interview with the network, but insists the child is not his.

I dunno. The woman’s dying. She’s also been humiliated, even if she knew in 2006. She has to be thinking of her children, whom she won’t be here to shield from the spotlight that their father pulled toward himself. With his betrayal, she must be feeling pretty alone. She also might blame herself, in the sense that she ‘wasn’t there for him’ — which is utter horse manure, but might be part of her psychology. From me, she can have the sympathy.

In true ambulance chaser fashion, he says that the timeline bopping the inexperienced videographer mitigates that the kid is his. She went to Africa w/him, etc. She said she was w/him for six months. Sounds like when Elizabeth was at home, this was a regular deal.
