Former Israeli cabinet minister and respected international figure Natan Sharansky warned American Jews this week that voting for Democratic candidate Barack Obama in the upcoming presidential election would risk Israel's future.
Speaking on Shalom TV, a Jewish cable network that reaches 18 million American households, Sharansky avoided the rampant conspiracy theories regarding Obama, but did note that his lack of a positive record vis-a-vis Israel should raise concerns.
With Obama, said Sharansky, "nobody can know for sure what will be. It can happen to be good. It can happen to be very bad. It's a risk."
Also of concern is Obama's tendency to surround himself with advisors who are either hostile toward the Jewish state or advocate sacrificing Israeli interests for American interests.
By contrast, Sharansky said that Republican candidate John McCain, whom he has known personally for 20 years, has a long, strong record of support for Israel.

And you can add Michigan,Minnesota, and Pennsylvania to that mix if McCain chooses Mitt Romney as VP.
Also, Mitt would solidify Colorado and Nevada (both with large Mormon populations who are great at organizing) and might even be able to put California into play — most Hispanics (Catholic and Mormon) will connect to his pro-family lifestyle and platform and there are more Mormons in California than there are in Utah (numerically).
The Obamessiah is a risk to all gun and religion clinging Americans.

Good point about CT. Yes I almost forgot that. If they took Lieberman over the Dem candidate, McCain might have a shot there. It will be a landslide.

Of course he is a threat. Look at some of his closests friends........the Nation of Islam......they hate the Jews.
His Stalinist disarmament policies will weaken the American right to self-defense, his slash and burn approach to the DOD budget will weaken our much needed military and his Communist "redistribution of wealth" programs will bankrupt the economy. Obama also has no problem with 8-10 dollars for a gallon of gas.
Once the American military and economy are gone, there will be also be no legal way for us to defend ourselves as individuals.
Civilization will crash into ruin.

Obama is to young to recall when Iraq was lobbing missiles on Israel (and at the time, had thousands of US citizens) - yet he opposed “the war” because, in part, Iraq he claimed, posed no threat to the US nor then rest of the world. What was this idiot smoking?
Obama is a racist and a fraud. Trust him with nothing. He is a serious danger.
Our nation and world affairs are far too important to be entrusted to this dangerous fraud.
