And you can add Michigan,Minnesota, and Pennsylvania to that mix if McCain chooses Mitt Romney as VP.

Also, Mitt would solidify Colorado and Nevada (both with large Mormon populations who are great at organizing) and might even be able to put California into play — most Hispanics (Catholic and Mormon) will connect to his pro-family lifestyle and platform and there are more Mormons in California than there are in Utah (numerically).

Don't forget CT, with Lieberman on McCain's side. If McCain were smart, he'd run ads in Philadelphia and then do a campaign tour of Connecticut and a stop in Northern NJ to get some NYC press coverage. I think he could definitely put NJ into play.
