In an interview with Politico and Yahoo News released Thursday, Rice was asked if she would feel secure with a president Obama.
"Oh, the United States will be fine," she responded. "I think that we are having an important debate about how we keep the country safe," she said, pointing to the Middle East and Iraq.

I’m surprised. And I think it’s pretty fine sportswomanship on her part. Admirable.

Why don’t she go ahead and endorse him. She never belonged in the republican party anyway. And she has been a lightweight in both of her jobs as Nat Sec Adv and
Sec of State. Like Obama , a real product of affirmative action.

And I think its pretty fine sportswomanship on her part. Admirable.I disagree. Obama has taken positions that would undermine basic national security if they were implemented.

Heck, maybe Condi thinks Obama will also throw Michelle under the bus, and she will be there waiting in the wings.
To: RED SOUTH
Didn’t think Condi would be a “identity politics” kind of person, putting skin melanin content over principles.

Ugh. Where's Tom "The Hammer" DeLay now when we need him most.
As usual, the Dems have flamethrowers out there while the Reps arm themselves with pea-shooters.

HOLD ON NOW, a sitting SecState needs to be careful about what is said. It does the Country no good for her to posture our Foreign Policy as being in trouble if Obama is elected - that would only serve the party. Let's not let the MSM take us down that rabbit hole.

Is anyone else distrurbed by the fact that the headline makes it appear that Rice is endorsing Obama, while the article makes it appear she’s being “diplomatic?”

Once again, the title is misleading to what the quote really was. Dr. Rice said ‘The United States will be fine.’ not ‘..it will be fine under Obama’. I agree with the original quote as stated. The US will be fine. We are the greatest country on the face of the earth. We've survived Revolution, Civil War, World Wars, Depressions, Recessions, Wilsons, Carters, Clintons, and we always come out stronger. One man cannot bring this country down, we are bigger than just who holds the presidency.

Yes , we would be very safe while President Obama negotiates
our surrended with our enemies and terrorist and while he gets very busy disarming us by scrapping our military.
Plus the added bonus of pulling our troops from Iraq.
He is on record of saying he will do all these things.
To: RED SOUTH
That’s pretty ugly to say about her. She may not be “all that”, but she doesn’t qualify as a lightweight nor an affirmative action product, either.
What part of your ability to earn a million a year life have you given up to serve our Nation?

Is this woman a Republican or not?
And to think that some on this forum were pushing her as a potential GOP presidential candidate, or at least VP.
Bah!

Is anyone else distrurbed by the fact that the headline makes it appear that Rice is endorsing Obama, while the article makes it appear she's being “diplomatic?” I wouldn't even say it is 'diplomatic', the title is incorrect as to what she said. She just said the US would be fine, she didn't say 'it would be fine under Obama'. There is a BIG difference in the two statements.
