Over at Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft introduces us to Amy Proctor's report on the amazingly large crowd of South Koreans that came out to welcome George W. Bush to their country. It's a good thing that Amy clued us in here in America, because our media sure ignored the story of this large turnout.
Amy directs our attention to The Korea Times report that revealed that 374 "conservative groups" intended to "stage a large-scale demonstration welcoming Bush, at Seoul Plaza," and boy did they ever come through. It turns out, the anti-Bush protesters were only able to muster a could of hundred protesters while the pro-Bush rally saw 15,000 Koreans turn out to participate.
Amy reminds us that none of the pro-Bush rallies were sponsored by the South Korean government, too.

US media are as corrupt as drug cartels.
> The US media is filled with hate.
Indeed.
Contrary to their petulant cries over their exponentially declining readership, we won’t miss them when they’re gone.
Good riddance.
Yea, but at least drug cartels sell a product that people are willing to pay for. The the MSM is not providing a product people would pay for as their sales decline, employee's are laid off, and if you had to pay ala carte for a big three news program you would find nobody watching.
This story apparently doesn’t fit the “world hates us” meme...
On WCCo radio here in the twin cities yesterday, The event was reported like this.
They sent a full 45 seconds describing the Gong protest by a couple of thoudsand people...then spent one SENTANCE describing the 50K cheerers.
THAT my friends is the state of the WCCO DFL support unit.
No free rock concert, either.
Where is the evidence to the contrary?
The public polls and election results over the last 40 years prove that Americans are dangerously uninformed, ignorant of history and economics, and have completely embraced the culture of the MSM/Hollywood. (Save about 20%, who are still immune)
Just because the MSM are trimming their staffs, inventories, offices, etc......does NOT affect their actual product, ie, their monopoly on information and influence.
One day, I think we will see just how respected Pres. Bush really is and it’s going to be pretty mind-boggling to the un-boggled.
Must be at least a quarter of a million there - by Obama Campaign counting methods..
Who was the Rock band, and how much free beer did they give away?

I wish there was a large photo available that I could stuff in my lefty associates face.
Partisan Media Shill alert.
About 30 years ago Arnaud de Borchgrave wrote a paperback novel called “The Spike”. It followed a fictitious reporter who was submitting stories to his editor for publication. Whenever a story went against the opinion of the editors, no matter how factual and important, it was “spiked”. It wasn’t so much that they would publish known falsehoods but rather that they didn’t publish those opposed to their thinking.
Tamar is that true?
I haven’t hear any coverage on President Bush
It’s nice to know all those editors are on the same page regarding what to spike...
Quite an independent media we have here!
I would not turn out for Presidente Bush if you paid me.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the estimates were accurate. There are a lot of conservative Christians in South Korea and the largest Church in the world is in Seoul. That one church has a membership of over 100k people.
I hear a story on 700 club a year ago on that
Yeah seem President Bush is warmly received of course MSN Media here in the states didn’t really cover President Bush like that
