Yea, but at least drug cartels sell a product that people are willing to pay for. The the MSM is not providing a product people would pay for as their sales decline, employee's are laid off, and if you had to pay ala carte for a big three news program you would find nobody watching.
Where is the evidence to the contrary?
The public polls and election results over the last 40 years prove that Americans are dangerously uninformed, ignorant of history and economics, and have completely embraced the culture of the MSM/Hollywood. (Save about 20%, who are still immune)
Just because the MSM are trimming their staffs, inventories, offices, etc......does NOT affect their actual product, ie, their monopoly on information and influence.
