...the House of Representatives held a vote on weather or not they would stay and debate the energy issue, or go on their scheduled vacations. In this vote, 17 Democrats sided with ALL the Republicans and voted to stay. They still came up short by one vote. The vote was 212-213, the 213 Dems voted to go on vacation and worry about ...

That's the worst spell of whether I've seen in a long time.

Actually, the origin goes even further than that. It actually began way back in ‘96 if I recall, when someone [Cliff Kinkaid?] was interviewed on NET and spoke out about the Kyoto Treaty. We in the FR-- led by JimRob-- a tiny and little known forum, helped forewarn the senate about that dangerous treaty. Paul Weyrich and his patriotic team also deserve credit for laying the groundwork— and last but not least— Jim Robinson himself.
