Agreed. One down, twelve million to go.
Cantu needs to get his date set soon.
Good.

Oh, man, the enablers are gonna be PO’d. But millions of little girls were made safer tonight.
Comment of the day!!

It was Condo Rice who pressured Bush to lobby Texas and support the International Court.
After hacving read court transcripts of that trial, I swear I wanted to shoot the animal on the spot when I read that.
He talks about dehumanizing someone? After gang raping two young girls for over an hour, then kicking and beating them senseless before strangling them?
Sorry Cantu...you did the dehumanizing, both of those girls and of yourself in the process and no reaching out to penpals will change that.
He needs to seek whatever solace he can find before the judgement bar of God...in person and soonest.
That is what he better start preparing for.
Instead, the guy is actually trying to make himself look like the victim. One clear sign of someone unrepentant as far as I am concerned.
But, repentant or not, his date will not come soon enough as far as I am concerned.
Speaking of, I'm off.
My best to you and yours my friend.
Stay ever vigilant.

He isn't, and never was a Texan. He and his family are carpetbaggers from Maine.
I don't understand why they even considered the case at this late date. They already refused Bush's position some many months back and should have either refuse to hear it and accepted the Texas Supreme Court ruling. This was a State's rights issue and the ICJ has no standing with such cases. Or at least it shouldn't.
Plus, the denial of a stay was a 5 to 4 decision. The continuation of our Republic is one vote away from being null and void.
All that said, I wonder what Governor Perry would have done if the USSC had ruled otherwise. I would hope that he would carry fulfill his State's rights anyway and let the chips fall. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say about the USSC ruling, if anything.
Anyway, other then being glad the monster is dead, I can't help believe that we were one vote away from an uprising.
The international court can drop dead.
Err, no.
“Bush said he disagreed with the international court’s conclusions, but agreed to comply with them. In a February 28, 2005, executive order, he said, “The United States will discharge its international obligations ... by having state courts give effect to the decision in accordance with general principles of comity in cases filed by the 51 Mexican nationals addressed in that decision.”
His call. And lets not forget, Rice works at the pleasure of the President. She’s nothing more than his State Dept rep / mouthpiece. If she were going off on her own initiative, she’d be fired pretty damn quick. This was Bush’s call and shame on him for it.
As it is, they made it look like they were seriously considering, and in fact were one vote short of seriously considering an issue that the court itself had just decided upon as regards this foreign influence, treaty or otherwise.
A sickening state of affairs to be sure, but at least this animal has met his just end. Now they need to do the same with the gang leader back then, Cantu.
Ditto that...Whats the old saying?? “I wasn’t born here, but I got here as fast as I could”; But my two daughters were. (In spite of Tropical Storms and Hurricanes)
Hey Arthur, I remember you from way back in the early FR activist days. Glad to see you're still around and kicking. Aren't you the member who came up with the idea of the wallet sized card to promote Constitutional ideals? I expanded on that idea and printed out many of those cards and promoted same. Is that you?
That said, I'm not a Christian (although I do respect the ideals) and have no problem with such a monster burning in hell, if there is one. I'm not as forgiving as you. I can live with that and have NO problem with vengeance. Best.
Hello Dear Lady. Did you hear about YaYa123 leaving us? A major loss.
Hey Mexico, UN, World Court and all the 2nd rate countries...
DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS
Agreed. Long live the death penalty in Texas and may it once again be used in all 50 states.
I will never understand anyone who supports a family member of a capital punishment crime simply because they are related. I would give up my own son if I knew positively he had committed such crimes. I would dis-own him/her.
