"It is despicable to hope that anyone burns in hell. It is sinful to hope that anyone will go to hell. I’m not opposed to executing murderers. The guy sounds like a piece of human excrement, etc. But all Christians, anyway, are obliged to hope that he might be saved somehow."

Hey Arthur, I remember you from way back in the early FR activist days. Glad to see you're still around and kicking. Aren't you the member who came up with the idea of the wallet sized card to promote Constitutional ideals? I expanded on that idea and printed out many of those cards and promoted same. Is that you?

That said, I'm not a Christian (although I do respect the ideals) and have no problem with such a monster burning in hell, if there is one. I'm not as forgiving as you. I can live with that and have NO problem with vengeance. Best.

He will burn in Hell if that’s what he chooses, and if that’s the case, I have no problem with that.

I’m not particularly forgiving, personally. I was just stating what orthodox Christianity teaches.

I never came up with any ideas, let alone the wallet-card-Constitution thing. Sounds like a great idea, though!

What I’m really famous for is a thread about pinging. And I still am not clear what pinging is.
