"The moonbats had a particularly dismal showing. Far from my initial estimate of a few thousand made a few days ago, they barely mustered perhaps four hundred. The poor weather undoubtedly drove some away, but their turnouts are so bad lately that it is hard to get our undercover operatives into their midst.
The Adalah group whom I had been concerned about (because they announced they were going to meet at 44th St and march south to 42nd Street) were for the most part a no show. When I was still at the recruiter station I kept a sharp eye out for them, but didnt spot even any small groups coming through the area.
We had a few incidents. One when an islamist took a poke at one of the women on our side and then returned to our area and slapped the arm of one of our combat vets. His bag of fliers spilled its contents on the street and he ended up tackled by Police for his troubles.
Another when a blue star mom rescued a torn, burned knot of flags (U.S., Great Britain and Israel) that one of the protesters had been waving about and then dropped on the ground.
The final incident was when the Nam Knights came around the corner of 42nd Street right past the protesters. The Police Inspector had them stop there and rev their engines and then reportedly told them to leave the area. Im awaiting confirmation of the exact conversation that took place there.
We serenaded the moonbats with chants, 'Go For Vic-Tor-Y', 'War freed the slaves', 'USA All the Way!' etc When their group finally made ready to make their march we unfurled DanPs 10×15 American Flag and held it high chanting 'Wheres YOUR Flag!'
As is normal at these events their area was a mess when they departed. So bad, in fact, that a few patriots went over and cleaned some of the mess up. Its a shame these spoiled children were never taught to clean up after themselves.
All in all it was an absolutely great day for the Patriots! We had passersby thanking us for being there, active duty personnel stopping by (in one case posing with one of our service branch flags to commemorate their visit), even one lady shouting at the police that she had seen the Islamist starting the whole incident that was partially captured on film.
Pamelas photos are here. Her videos are here and here. In that second video, near the end, notice that moonbat flying his true colors. He is holding a Peoples Democratic Republic of China flag."

For anyone who doesn't know, the so-called "anti-war" group International A.N.S.W.E.R. was formed by leaders of the Workers World Party (and mere days after the 911 attacks). WWP is a collection of pro-North Korea Stalinists based in New York City. When A.N.S.W.E.R. was later outed as a communist front, WWP started up a new "peace" group called Troops Out Now. Democrat chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, actually gives speeches at their rallies and the New York City media looks the other way -also is never confronted by Hannity or O'Reilly about it, despite his almost weekly appearances on their programs. Other prominent lefties who spoke at the rally were the former attorney general under democrat president LBJ, Ramsey Clark , and Lynne Stewart , convicted of aiding islamic terrorists. Clark heads the International Action Center and had a major role in the formation of A.N.S.W.E.R. As stated above, all three organizations, The International Action Center, Troops Out Now and Workers World Party have headquarters at the same exact location in New York City.

For a small taste of who the WWP is, and what they believe in, the following is from their website (workers.org)...
"On July 9 (1994), Workers World Party Chairperson Sam Marcy sent the following statement to Comrade Kim Jong Il, the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea and the State Funeral Committee of President Kim Il Sung.":
"Dear Comrade Kim Jong Il ...
The National Committee of Workers World Party extends our deepest condolences on the passing of the great leader of the Korean people, Comrade President Kim Il Sung.
Comrade Kim Il Sung devoted his whole life to the Korean people's struggle for national self-determination and the international working-class struggle for socialist emancipation. With his leadership, the Korean people defeated the Japanese colonial occupation and soon after brought about the first defeat of the U.S. imperialist military machine.
For over 40 years since the armistice, the U.S. military has continued to occupy the south of Korea with troops and nuclear weapons. This occupation has been the chief obstacle to peaceful reunification of Korea and poses the chief danger of a new war on the peninsula." ...
"Workers World Party values our close, comradely relations with the Workers Party of Korea very highly. We are proud to have known Kim Il Sung as a great leader and a comrade in the international communist movement. ...
With comradely solidarity, Sam Marcy Chairperson, Workers World Party":

Here, also from the Workers World Party website (workers.org), is a direct link to the set of photos showing Ramsey Clark, Lynne Stewart and current democrat chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, all at the Workers World Party/Troops Out Now event on March 19, 2005. The occasion marked the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Iraq war:

Hey! Somebody has to bump me on these weekday protests in NYC!
BUMP and a PING
There were three announcements posted for yesterday's event (Saturday's), two of which I posted myself. Two of the three were posted on the Gathering Of Eagles forum and so were there to be found. The first announcement was posted by 'trooprally' on July 22. Also, you could always check the Gathering Of Eagles Website (http://newyork.gatheringofeagles.org/) for their "Upcoming Events" schedule. I should add that I am not officially with the organizing group (GoE). I was just there on my own to help out. Same goes for the posting of the announcements.
Here were the announcements:

Great report, ETL, and great action by the patriotic Americans of New York! We had a New Yorker here in Tucson for a while supporting the troops but unfortunately he moved away. His stoic dedication and NY attitude was greatly appreciated, however.
Sorry, but I didn't write the report. The report is from the Gathering Of Eagles -New York website. I am not officially with the group. All I did was check-up on the group that was organizing the protests (No War On Iran) and saw that they were located at the exact same address as Workers World Party (55 West 17th Street, NY, NY), the same communist org who founded the, um, "anti-war" group A.N.S.W.E.R. (they are anything but anti-war, just anti-American and anti-Capitalist).
Be sure to check the linked Gathering Of Eagles website for the great photos! One of the most memorable things about the event for me was when 6 or 7 Vet-riding Harleys came blasting down the avenue right alongside the moonbats. One of the bikes was a “trike”!, a 3-wheel Harley beautifully done-up with images of the Stars and Stripes. The roar was so deafening, you couldn’t even hear what the commies were shouting at them! Unfortunately, it didn’t last for more than 2 or 3 minutes as the NYC police told them they needed to move on.
California Democrat Nancy Pelosi, the first woman speaker of the House, will promote her upcoming book, Know Your Power: A Message to Americas Daughters in three television appearances Monday: NBCs Today, ABCs The View and Comedy Centrals The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Are these studios in NYC? If so, any plans to FReep Pelosi?
Not that I'm aware of. Then again, I'm not officially part of any organizing group. I've only been with FR for about 2 months.

Great report!

The Gathering of Eagles NYC AAR is up. ETL has linked you to the GoE site and copied the report.
I’m working on the D.C. AAR now. Hopefully it will be finished tonight.

...Stop War On Iran” group and it is the same as Workers World Party....

I know you are as shocked as I am about the connection. The slime bags.
Thanks for posting this. And thanks to the NY FReepers and all FReepers who stand up to this kind of bullclinton.
Bump!
Great report! Thanks for being there!
Hell, I would just throw pork rinds at him : )
From National Review Archives
Who is International ANSWER, one of the two major organizers of this weekend's antiwar protests? The Washington Post won't tell you, but PostWatch will. He links to Powerline, where the guys found this Michael Kelly column from January 2003:
International ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) is a front group for the communist Workers World Party. The Workers World Party is, literally, a Stalinist organization. It rose out of a split within the old Socialist Workers Party over the Soviet Union's 1956 invasion of Hungary the breakaway Workers World Party was all for the invasion. International ANSWER today unquestioningly supports any despotic regime that lays any claim to socialism, or simply to anti-Americanism. It supported the butchers of Beijing after the slaughter of Tiananmen Square. It supports Saddam Hussein and his Baathist torture-state. It supports the last official Stalinist state, North Korea, in the mass starvation of its citizens. It supported Slobodan Milosevic after the massacre at Srebrenica. It supports the mullahs of Iran, and the narco-gangsters of Colombia and the bus-bombers of Hamas.
The Washington Post could replace Harold Meyerson with old Michael Kelly columns and improve the quality of its op-ed page tenfold.

I wasn’t with the group for much of the time, and certainly not for that incident. I was more out on my own mixing it up with the protesters and trying to inform the confused onlookers (mostly tourists) who these SOBs really were. I must say, I think I did pretty well for myself. :)
Yes, they (Workers World Party) and the Revolutionary Communist Party (parent of “peace group” World Can’t Wait—Drive Out the Bush Regime) are waay out there on the lunatic left. Sick.
You're welcome, but I only forwarded the report from the GoE's website. I didn't write it.
