House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
And McCain is doing so well. The main thing saving him is that his opponent also has no executive experience
It will depend on how the GOP plays it v how the MSM plays it. And how John and Jane Q Public responds to it.
With your attitude and outlook, the Dems will win. We need to make noise and KEEP making noise as we did with illegal amnesty. Don’t try to say it can’t work because we have already seen that it does.

I saw the panel. Fred Barnes said that stunts usually work for liberals but rarely for conseravatives b/c of media.
That’s the whole deal. If the media would have jumped on this like they would have if it had been a Democrat “stunt” it would have been a major turning point. It could have been huge.

Do you think that any show anchor pours thru the feeds and says ummmm let's take that one or ignore that one and.... He's just reading the FEED sent him on the teleprompter. Think of the best anchor or the worst and they all do the same. Even moderators like Hannity and Colm, do that when they discuss any breaking event. They will interrupt their own monologue only for a direct network feed.

Not to worry. This is hot, no matter what Fred Barnes says or anyone else. I never heard Hannity so fired up, just to name one. The House conservatives are rallied too— that counts no matter how few people ‘get it’. The Left is going to hurt from this.
Just imagine if oil were to go back up again because Iran blows its nose. Oil will ultimately keep going up until we have more energy. Time has been on our side from the beginning, and the snowball will only get larger with time. No one can out-argue mathematics.
