I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.

He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...

"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."

I just talked to Cong Mary Fallin’s office here in OKC to thank her for being out front on the oil drilling issue. One of her bills on energy and drill now is one that Pelosi refuses to bring to the floor because she (Pelosi) knows more then someone from an oil state. Mary Fallin is doing an awesome job in Congress.

Our hope in 2010 is to bring her back to Oklahoma and make her our Governor-elect in Nov 2010!
