Yeah, it does stink. I stay home. Hubby drives a diesel at $4.69 a gallon but he gets 500 to 600 miles on a tank. At that price though, we stay home. Haven’t seen the grandkids since May.

Now that’s sad. I’ve been driving a compact car and leaving the children at home most of the time, but when my daughter starts college next month, I’ll be back to using the van for everything. Ouch!

You can thank the environmentalists for the price of diesel. Diesel used to be cheaper than regular gas, but then they mandated ultra-low-sulfur diesel, which added considerably to the cost
