CSPAN has shut down coverage of the House. The lights have been turned out.
House Republicans are still there, raising cain- trying to get them to turn the lights back on and continue debating over drilling!!!

I just called and said "There's a Republican revolt going on int the House Chamber and I wasn't seeing much coverage of it." I got a run around on it. Was told several times "There are no cameras on now. Cameras are not allowed." I objected, politely, that the story could still be covered.
He seemed mildly irritated that I would question that and asked if I wanted to talk to (name garbled) and I said yes. Got a phone tree that led to leaving a recorded message. I did...
"There's a Republican revolt going on in the House Chamber. I understand that the cameras are turned off. You can still cover the story. Thank you."
Oh, we can do better than THAT! =)
We have elections, not coronations. Too many in Congress ignore the people who elected them. It’s about time the folks let them know it.

I just called my rat congressman’s office to “thank” him for going on vacation without addressing the energy. Clueless wonder that answered the phone said “he’s not on vacation”.
