We, as parents, are well aware of the importance of our teachers who teach and program our children. We also know how important it is for our children to play with good-thinking children growing up.
Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.

Not for Obama it isn’t. He still doesn’t think that the surge had any effect.
Not if Jane Fonda was calling the Communist indoctrination of this nation a threat on par on with Islamic terrorism.
Yes, you are correct. It is frightening..they cannot discuss issues, they feel ok with this because they are MORALLY SUPERIOR to you and I. They CARE more than you or I..and that is just the most frustrating thing in the world to me. Having to qualify my compassion? No thanks. So there is never any honest debate.

Oh, yeah. It was Ned, all right.
I just wanted to work it in somehow. The reference, I mean.
Keep throwing facts.
He comes from good stock. He’ll get it eventually.
I do the same with my left-leaning parents.

Michael Moore to Wesley Clark: Run!
A Citizen's Appeal to a General in a Time of War (at Home)
Dear General Wesley Clark,
I've been meaning to write to you for some time. Two days after the Oscars, when I felt very alone and somewhat frightened by the level of hatred toward me for daring to suggest that we were being led into war for "fictitious reasons," one person stuck his neck out and came to my defense on national television.
And that person was you.

I'll Be Voting For Wesley Clark / Good-Bye Mr. Bush
Many of you have written to me in the past months asking, 'Who are you going to vote for this year?'
I have decided to cast my vote in the primary for Wesley Clark. That's right, a peacenik is voting for a general. What a country!

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"

My Vote's for Obama (if I could vote) ...by Michael Moore
Friends,
I don't get to vote for President this primary season. I live in Michigan. The party leaders (both here and in D.C.) couldn't get their act together, and thus our votes will not be counted.
So, if you live in Pennsylvania, can you do me a favor? Will you please cast my vote -- and yours -- on Tuesday for Senator Barack Obama?
Very thoughtful article by Angelina. Gives me new respect for her.
I fail to see any hypocrisy in that.
As I recall, Jon was tied to a tree by the neck with a piece of web strap at the time.
He’s taken a strong stand. I intend to send links to his column to many friends.
If he doesn't he will lose his daughter for a period of time, maybe a long one.
Indeed.
I’m just trying to think of the dialog between script writers as they conjured up the plot(s) to that episode.
“KRAMER: No, its justifiable. He thought I was going for his wallet.”
Friggin priceless...
LOL! Thanks, but I wouldn’t hold my breath!!!
Just finished doing the same thing. Nobamas, nomarxists.
Perhaps I’m making a pretty wild suggestion...but you know...I think I’d extend a 30-minute reservation for Jon to speak at the Republican National Convention. I think this guy could probably bring folks up on a standing ovation for six or seven times.
Perhaps I’m thinking on the wild side...but this article impressed me...he is right on so many points. So much of the early 1970s Democratic support came off radical 60’s and their front-line speakers. “Change” was a huge sales item within their speeches. By the late 70’s....the steam was gone from this period. I think Jon Voight ought to speak...and give us a moment of inspiration...we need it.
You just reminded me of something that happened years ago. I was dating a guy..he was nice, but he wasn’t what my parents were “hoping” for me. (honestly, it was about religion). I was with this guy for three years. One night I was visting them and we were having dinner. Out of the blue, my darling Father looked up from his soup and said, “Break up with Jeffrey.” It was so bizarre. Then, he never talked about it again! Thinking about it now, it must have been so hard for my Dad to do this beccause he loved me, and we were so close..and Jeffrey was a nice guy. Of course, I didn’t listen to him then. We eventually broke up and I married my hubby who my dad adored. PS: My husband is not of my religion either. As you get older, I guess this doesn’t matter as much!!!! lol!
