Hope that package contains something good.
Congrats on new camera. I had to get a digital about a year ago cause my tech savvy sons made fun of me cause wasn’t up to speed. LOL
Glad to have it now.

Thanks for posting the thread for me, Ma! I thought I'd share with everyone a little of where I was....
We started off in St. Louis, flew to San Francisco and rode south thru Monterey and Big Sur to Moonstone Beach for the night. The next day we got up and rode back north on the Pacific Coast Highway through San Francisco via the Golden Gate Bridge...
We ended up that day in a place called Bodega Bay. It was a small little town, but the view was nice!
On Day Three we headed up the coast from Bodega Bay, by some gorgeous coastline again and thru Redwood country...
During this leg of the trip we encountered quite a bit of smoke from the wildfires. We had smelled a little smoke and seen a bit of the remnants of the wildfires at Big Sur while we were there, but this was WAY worse. We stopped in a little town calle Hayfork, CA and while we were getting a couple cold drinks, we saw Sikorsky Sky Cranes flying over in addition to an unreal number of firefighters and "Hot Shots." On our way out of town we got this self-portrait - and yes, we were moving (albeit slowly!) at the time... In the pic below, look closely. That is NOT fog, it's smoke.
If you think of it tonight, say a prayer for the firefighters -- they are heroes without a doubt.
