Barack Obama Does Not Give Birthday Presents To Children

In a magazine interview Obama and his wife Michelle revealed that one of their steadfast house rules is not giving Christmas or birthday presents to Malia, 10, and Sasha, seven.

The couple explained that they spend "hundreds" on birthday slumber parties and want to "teach some limits". Santa Claus is still permitted to deliver seasonal gifts however.

The girls are also given an allowance of just $1 (50p) a week for performing household chores, according to People magazine. Those chores include making their own bed, setting and clearing the dinner table and putting themselves to bed by 8.30pm.

On the campaign trail, Mr Obama has often spoken of the need for Americans to be "better parents" who aren't afraid to "turn off the TV".

He has also exhorted black males to be more responsible fathers.

Though he has been away "98 per cent of the time", Mr Obama told People that before the campaign he did "the house and car repairs, the grocery shopping" and "sometimes the laundry".

Isn’t the term “collective” so Obama?

You've solved the puzzle. Individual birthday presents couldn't be shared or "collective" would they? Against the mantra. They must eliminate individualism for groupism. Ditto slumber parties in which all can share. Ditto Christmas gifts which are far too individual.

Socialism is in their blood.

I did not receive presents either from my parents except some small item. At Christmas, the family would decorate the Christmas tree with snacks, bake cookies, build a gingerbread house, and take small gifts to those who were alone in nursing homes and spent time with them. We would have a special dinner and tell Christmas stories and sing songs. I have the most wonderful memories of Christmas, and I have never thought of my parents as cheap. To us, Christmas was not about shopping and presents but had a deeper meaning.

Do any Muslims celebrate Christmas? What about birthdays?

A Muslim has a distinguished personality. He should not imitate others in evil things and leave the good ones. Talking to our children about their birthdays, we should remind them that on such days they should remember the blessings of Allah and praise Him for giving them life and guidance. It would be better if we ask them to offer something in charity as a form of showing gratitude.

From islamonline.net. In short, the answer to your question is no. Interesting, isn't it? I don't honestly know what the Obama's truly believe, but their faith's hate-filled preaching and racist beliefs resemble islam in a lot of ways.

Since they should have been already aborted by his FREE CHOICE “supporters”, they don’t have birthdays!

I've suspected the Reverend Wright was drawing down on the Jehovah's Witness groups in the area, and if you want to get along with that segment of your church (if there's a lot of them) you don't even celebrate birthdays.

Michelle, as one of the Queen Bees at Wright's church undoubtedly did the PC thing.

BTW, we usually go out to dinner, and have ice cream and cake.

NO PRESENTS EITHER.

We do Christmas Presents on Christmas Eve, too, which is where God meant Christmas present giving to take place.

Don't you? (Or maybe December 15 ~ that's another good day for it).

WOW, I think you nailed it. It’s like they’re trying to erase any trace of individuality, and this is exactly what he wants to do to the entire country.

Assad, the Syrian dictator does. In fact all the Alawi celebrate "Feast of the Epiphany", and are not beyond participating in other Christian holidays.

Some Moslems (like maybe 99.999%) think of the Alawi as being Non-Moslem though.

Part of Arafat’s job ~ plus tourist dollars ~ plus his wife Suha is Christian. I know Moslem men who attend Christian churches with their wives.

“..Do any Muslims celebrate Christmas?

http://www.altayyeb.net/birthday1eng.html

see the end of the text:

Conclusion:

Muslims do not celebrate the birthday of anybody regardless of who it is. If we were to celebrate anybody’s birthday it would be that of the prophet and he and so many better Muslims than us did not do such and the companions loved him immensely. So if his birthday is not celebrated why should we celebrate someone’s of lesser worthiness? To celebrate birthdays is heresy. The prophet said: “Anyone who introduces something into the affairs of ours (Islam) will have it rejected”

this is the difference between rat-wingers and conservatives....

rat-wingers believe limits, which is nothing more than a nice way of saying deprivation, will teach kids best....

me- I have my daughter give the toys she doesn't play with to kids who need them and always makes sure she puts some money in the basket every week at church....

We have several Moslem lady friends in the neighborhood who always make sure we get some of the special Pakistani hot spiced meatballs during Ramadan.

It's not just "some" either ~ regular feed bag. Definitely a choice dish.

Here's Pak "comfort food". Meatballs, cauliflower with cheese sauce, curried chicken, spicy green beans, flat bread ~ it's all pretty doggone decent grub.

Saying goodnight to my kids, having a last chat of the day, and giving them one more cuddle are among my most joyous memories.

How very odd.
He is depriving those kids of some of the biggest joys of childhood.
The people are truly oddballs.

Oh, it’s EID-UL-FITR that’s the biggie fun thing with muzzies like the Obamas. That’s where they have a jolly block party, hang up screaming animials by their heels and slit their throats. Sacrifing innocent animals for allah to satisfy their blood lust!

one of their steadfast house rules is not giving Christmas or birthday presents

This is one step short of teaching the kids that there is no Santa Claus and it's a hard knock life for everyone in the house... Obviously, the children won't deserve presents until they can pay for the presents themselves. And they will only be worthy of their parents unconditional love when they gradate from law school............
