You've solved the puzzle. Individual birthday presents couldn't be shared or "collective" would they? Against the mantra. They must eliminate individualism for groupism. Ditto slumber parties in which all can share. Ditto Christmas gifts which are far too individual.

It's in all our blood. Our founders recognized the 'defect' and remedied it with the Declaration. Socialism and Tribalism are second cousins. The socialist and the tribalist decide what's good for the 'tribe/society' and one must obey.
The back-sliding that has taken place in our country with regard to this Neanderthal thinking ought to embarrass every American. "My country 'tis of thee" needs to be replaced with "Our country, 'tis of us", and forget about 'let freedom ring'.
This election, as so many in the past, will determine whether individual rights or collective rights dominate. Individual Rights have been losers of late and some might chalk that up to 'democracy' with a natural tendancy to go with policies that favor the 'many' (Go, tribe, go!). Trouble is, our courts have become politicized, our congress certainly is, and we haven't an executive branch to put either in it's place.
The election of an Obama will mean that our Constitution and Bill of Rights will become toilet paper as they'll both have to be scrapped in order to forge the "change" envisioned by Mr. Messiah. Anyone who's seen this coming knows what to do.
