It offends gays because it uses the words “be a real man” not because the ad is gay bashing. All speed walkers look effeminate IMO.
Its actually a pretty good commercial.

Maybe they were just poking fun at speed walkers instead of gays. It seems that there are people who wake up every morning just looking for something to be offended by.
