Seems like she was playing an 80 year old twenty years ago, so I am surprised she was still around. She was very funny. RIP.

i was a kid when that show was on but i loved it. it was relaxingly funny. and it reminded me of the older people in my family so i watched it. i can’t believe she was so young when it aired! RIP...

That's a shame. I understand that she's been ill for a while, which was the main thing preventing any kind of reunion show or followup.
One of the few prime times shows that I could watch when they aired and not be embarassed when the syndicated reruns were on during the dinner hour.
