i was a kid when that show was on but i loved it. it was relaxingly funny. and it reminded me of the older people in my family so i watched it. i can’t believe she was so young when it aired! RIP...

I loved that show too.....still watch the reruns.

Estelle was brilliant as Sophia.

IIRC, several years ago I saw the GG cast on a show and without the make up, she looked like the youngest one of the group. I also remember a thread over a year ago ago about her deteriorating condition.

i was a kid when that show was on but i loved it.

I was never that fond of the show but my daughter loved to watch reruns when she was a preteen. Maybe Tartikoff had the target audience all wrong!
