Just wait until one of these comes down in a crowd — and scatters pedestrian pieces over a couple of square blocks...

I designed in a ballistic recovery parachute. Moller's design is really more of a ground effect vehicle rather than a true aircraft and at ten feet altitude I can't imagine it flying over anything except flat ground.

In honor of King Prout and all of his intellectually superior cohorts at their goofball site /sarc>

King, there was so much wrong with your ideas (hover tank) that we could just throw away the urinals.

Nah

The whole craft rotates vertical to go forward.

Maybe.

And the cockpit rotates too? Does it come with a “motion sickness” bag?

I prefer the “Back to the Future” car (actually time machine), the DeLorean, which used all garbage for fuel. LOL!

Now, who wants this eight-engine flying vegematic passing ten feet over his head?

Now multiply that by several thousand and put your average drivers in the pilot's seat. No lanes, lines or anything. Imagine the fun. Imagine the insurance rates.

That’s what it looks like to me.

There is a ‘split’ on the body between the nacelles and the rest.

I don’t know why ABC released this article at this time.

The photo in the article is the design Moller built in 1974.

The military and Nasa had built one just like it.

Moller has a new release of the MX400, which is much more flight-worthy, and isn’t even in these pictures.
