Those of us who ever stood under a hovering helicopter in RVN know about the huge volume and velocity of air required to support such a vehicle.

The picture certainly looks like a phony, with the tree leaves apparently undisturbed.

You have any idea how long moller has worked to come up with nothing???

I've followed Moller's work since the 70s. I also have worked on a similar design concept that immediately revealed fundamental problems with Moller's design. The disk loading is very high and the use of eight IC engines is very heavy and difficult to control. Their is virtually no provision for efficient forward flight.

My concept is larger for less disk loading and uses electric motors that have become very small, efficient and easy to control with microprocessors. Electric power is generated by a Zoche type supercharged diesel. I use an extremely efficient ring wing for lift during forward flight instead of relying on a very inefficient lifting body.

If I ever got it built, I sure could scare the hell out of people. :)
