The toxic Fred Phelps brigade known as "God Hates Fags" invaded the Tony Snow Funeral in Washington, DC.
Yeah, in Maryland. On appeal.
I have been Baptist all my life, and I don’t claim to be perfect. As a matter of fact, we sin, we make mistakes and we often don’t shine a good light on our Father’s name. But thankfully, I am forgiven. There are many people who are Baptist who are in same boat, but I don’t claim Phelps to be one of my brothers in christ.
I have an 870 with about 4 boxes of 3.5” F-shot and a Stevens 200 with 100 rounds of 6.5mm. Give me the long list.
Hatred is a funny thing though. Makes people rather easy to manipulate. Allows people to justify a lot of things including very strange ‘bed’ fellows. Could still have a funding and influence from a sophisticated wealthy source.
It’s for the exposure. I’d like to see them completely ignored by the media whereever they go.

Yes, I understand you completely and hope my original post wasn’t unclear. Indeed, all have sinned and fallen short and all are in need of forgiveness. Phelps claiming to be Baptist is about the same as Planned Parenthood claiming to be “Catholic”.
God forgive me. Somebody should put Phelps out of his misery.
They’re right there on a busy street corner with lots of cars going by - surely someone could have sprayed them with skunk piss or cat urine as they drove by.

Tony Snow was not a veteran, so there would be no Patriot Guard Rider mission. It would not be in accordance with their mission statement.
It's not just Phelps. Check any lib message board: non-stop vitriol for Tony Snow. They're all glad he's dead and only wish he'd suffered more for the capital crime of "telling lies for the White House."

Every believer should pray that God will give them the grace to repent.
You may believe that. I may believe that. But Fred and his family would disagree with you.
I wish just once that there would be someone close by who could challenge them and their cause. Just once see someone throw the Scriptures in their face. They think they are right, but they are sadly mistaken. Jesus taught we are to love one another. The Holy Spirit grieves when things like this happens. How miserable these peoples lives must be. They’ve been fooled into thinking they are doing God’s work, when in reality, they are doing the Devil’s.
