The toxic Fred Phelps brigade known as "God Hates Fags" invaded the Tony Snow Funeral in Washington, DC.
I assure you.. he is no Baptist!! He may use that title but he is not one of us!
The whole theory of the Phelps clan is to show up and hope someone worth suing does something they can file a lawsuit on.

It really ought to be illegal to picket at a funeral. This idiot has found a way to get in front of a camera whenever he wants and he doesn’t care how many grieving people he hurts to do it. There should be a news blackout on his obscene behavior just like there is when drunk fans may climb onto a football field and do stupid things. If he didn’t get any media attention and kept getting arrested for disturbing the peace then he would eventually stop.
These people are an embarrassment to the human race.
Is it possible they are funded by a radical pro-homosexual policy group? it just tracks too closely to the stereotype of what they want the world to believe about Christians.
That's what the Democrats around here say about him. Long and the short of it, Phelps and his mob are so loathsome that I won't hang them around anyones neck. They are an embarassment to any organization they claim association with.
These people also showed up a one of the funeral of one of the Boy Scouts that died in the Little Sioux Tornado. They had signs that said things like “Thank God for Dead Boy Scouts” and “God hates you”. I was glad to see the Vet Biker group lining the street up to the Church to keep them away. The news cameras were at the funeral and it was good to see them completely ignoring these people, they got zero coverage.
I don’t believe in violence, but I could make an exception for that bunch. They’re protected by the First Amendment, but what about Tony’s family? How are they protected from the hateful speech and actions of that bunch of godless morons?
No. Phelps and his crew have been at this for decades, and were spouting hatred against homosexuals long before they got into the national spotlight by picketing funerals. They are very sincere in their complete hatred of homosexuality.
These people are perverts.
They pervert the words of God in the most vile manners—down there in the sludge with Barry Hussein Obama’s “reverend.”
The only good thing about this is that, to do this to Tony Snow’s funeral shows to everyone their obvious vile, perverted natures. No sane person can say anything bad about Tony Snow. NO sane person!

No matter how crazy this guy’s crusade, I can’t understand why they would target Tony. Makes no sense.
States have tried it and courts have overturned it.
I can't believe that anyone has been under any illusions about the Phelps family or their nature for some time now.
You know, this is one time where I wouldn’t mind seeing a group of gays “take out the trash” with this garbage.
