(July 15, 2008) Global warming is likely to increase the proportion of the population affected by kidney stones by expanding the higher-risk region known as the "kidney-stone belt" into neighboring states, researchers at UT Southwestern Medical Center and UT Dallas have found.
Dehydration is one of the risk factors linked to kidney-stone disease, and the paper suggests global warming will exacerbate this effect. The researchers predict that by 2050, higher temperatures will cause an additional 1.6 million to 2.2 million kidney-stone cases, representing up to a 30 percent growth in some areas.

This is too much. How far down the rat hole do enviro whackos have to dig to come up with this stuff?
This is like a bad comedy routine. Who believes this stuff?
What a freaking load. This stuff is getting more ridiculous daily.
And our laundry will not smell spring fresh.
Just when you think the globull warming hysteria couldn’t get any more stupid...
Actually this will be more serious than Y2K. These morons are in power now. Y2K was a bit more of a surprise as it approached and folks who tampered with it would be held responsible for the results since they were near term and measurable.
How about hemmoroids? It would explain a lot.
If you take Global Warming, divide by seven and multiply by five it spells idney stones. Since k is the 11th letter of the alphabet. you subtract 10 and put it in the front.
Kidney Stones. Well I’ll be.
Horse hockey.
Toenail fungus is expected to improve with global warming....but there will be a portabello mushroom shortage.
Well, I already get them several times a year, so I guess I don’t have to give a whit about global warming....
My butt itches... that too?
What about the fact that fewer people would freeze to death with warming? It will SAVE thousands of lives...especially among the old and feeble...the most vulnerable in the population. Won’t somebody DO something?? /sarc
This is really getting pathetic.
Add to your list obsessive worry over worrying.
As soon as I see that as the headline in an article posted on Free Republic.
Global warming also causes your chewing gum to lose its flavor on the bedpost overnight.
Don’t worry, I’m sure worry will be a keyword in some headline.
Ciao!
Would you consider adding, “CFLs, the breakage of same and the biohazard aftermath” to your list?
What is BSE nvCJD?
I ask because, if I’m gonna worry, I want to do it right.
