A GROUP of glamour lesbians who believe the world was created by an alien civilisation 25,000 years ago have criticised the Catholic Church for being out of touch.
The representatives of the Gay Raelian society yesterday staged a demonstration outside Parliament House to protest the Pope's arrival for World Youth Day next week. Raelian spokeswoman Eden Bates said it was an insult that the Pope would be welcomed into Australia when "our gorgeous, fantastic spiritual leader Rael wasn't even given the respect of a visa".
"I'm not Catholic, I'm Raelian and I'd like to see police escorts for our beautiful profit when he comes to Australia," she said. Asked the difference between the Church and the tenets of Raelianism, she said: "We are an internaitonal, non-profit organisaton that understands that we have been creataed by an advanced civilisation that came to this planet 25,000 years ago and created everything that we are and everything we see around us." Ms Bates said the Raelians didn't care if a person was gay or straight or bi-sexual or even just a little bit curious.
Her friend Gerry Texeira agreed. "We believe the time has come for us to understand the truth about our existence," he said. Rael is a Frenchman and former motor sport journalist and race-car driver whose parents, the Vorilhons, called him Claude.

Pics at link. GUILTY!
That’s not desperation, it’s curiosity. I’m female, straight and generally regarded as ‘hot’, and I can’t wait to see these ‘gorgeous lesbians’.
Here's the gals in question. Heh.
Decidedly unglamorous. Sue 'em for false advertising.
One of the trainers at my old gym was part of this wacked out group. He was S*T*R*A*N*G*E!
Well?
...don't worry Louie, we won't forget you, promise.
Didn't the Beatles have a song with those lyrics?
Must be true, you can’t make this up. < sarc>
Looking at the photos definately not. Fit right in with Rosie.
Guilty-as-Hell, and damned to-boot!
“Lipstick Lesbian” has a nicer ring to it.
