Barack Obama to emulate John F Kennedy with Democratic nomination acceptance speech

Senator Barack Obama is to emulate John F Kennedy and accept the Democratic presidential nomination in a 76,000-seat American football stadium, the party has announced.

Barack Obama has often been compared to Kennedy for his
ability to inspire audiences through speeches

The Illinois senator's traditional, prime time end-of-convention speech is being switched to Invesco Field, the home of the Denver Broncos, from a smaller indoor sports arena hosting the rest of the Democratic national convention.

It will be the first time in 48 years that a nominee from either major party has moved to a bigger venue.

In 1960, Kennedy, then a 43-year-old senator, chose to speak at the similarly-sized Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles and told Americans that they stood on the verge of a "New Frontier". ....

If Obama’s head gets any bigger, he’ll HAVE to do open air venues.

I guess Obama doesn’t realize that Kennedy was not the Messiah.

He's going to Germany and say he's a jelly donut just like JFK too.

And with his Commie tendencies, I wouldn't be surprised if he told them to put the wall back up either.

NO FRICKIN’ EXPERIENCE PEOPLE

There are several GOOD reasons why the Republicans should win, the biggest one is...NO FRICKIN’ EXPERIENCE PEOPLE

Obama’s 143 Days of Senate Experience

Posted by C Jacobus
May 5, 2008

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That’s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.

143 days — I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.

In contrast, John McCain’s 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.

Couldn’t have said it any better, C.

There would be a Republican president if we had a Republican “winner” to begin with. The GOP picked McCain, not the people. Wonder who is backing NoBombo?

I’ve heard Obama’s speeches, all he does is plagiarize. Kennedy’s, Ich bin ein Berliner and The Moon speech I can practically recite. When Barack uses those quotes they are “Just Words”.

Sounds like he's emulating the national socialists in Germany. Hope he's hired a “good” filmmaker to capture his magic moment.

He’ll have to have some ‘executive affairs’ to properly recreate the Kennedy mystique. But who will sub for Marilyn Monroe in this cheezy sequel? Madonna? Jessica Simpson? Lindsey Lohan?

"Barack Obama has often been compared to Kennedy for his ability to inspire audiences through speeches"

Who do they expect to swallow such utter bullsh!t?

The truth is this:

"Barack Obama has often been compared to Kennedy for his ability to hypnotize fools through empty rhetoric"

Seriously. They could show a goldfish mouthing for TetraMin with fish-over tapes of Axelrod speeches and it would be as inspiring as an Obama oration.
