The director of the FBI is not happy with the Supreme Court's recent handgun ruling.
Robert Mueller says he tends to believe that "weapons harm people, and more often than not they harm the people carrying them."
Mueller said the high court's decision, which threw out a handgun ban in Washington, D.C., "does throw a lot of things up in the air."
Mueller said communities will now have to decide their own licensing programs.
Mueller was speaking at a convention of the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators in Hartford, Connecticut.
He says with his grandchildren going to college, he hopes "those campuses will be weapons-free."
“Are there any men in Washington?”
No. Not even close.
Being a real man is totally politically incorrect, as well as being unfashionable by the standards of the fag and quasi-fag dominated media.
What must we do to drive that point home?
I guess spoons are to blame for fat people?
See, here’s the thing Mueller, a gun is the only thing that puts a little old lady and a 6’ 7”, 250 pound criminal on equal footing.
It’s why we formed this country in the first place you moron.
***OMG! What John Ross wrote about in Unintended Consequences is spot on.***
You got that right.
Somehow, that gives me the distinct impression that something good is happening.
"Robert Mueller says he tends to believe that 'weapons harm people, and more often than not they harm the people carrying them.'"
He must be thinking of his own agency.
I know, I just phrased my comment that way. One rumor is that Muller was kept on the CIA payroll after the war, another is that he worked for the KGB.
He just wants the great unwashed unarmed to make his job easier.
GASP...DEMOCRACY!!! We can't have THAT!!!!
***Ok... There was the Lubbock “Circular Firing Squad” the SWAT team there pulled, but I’m ok with only allowing law enforcement tightly regulated access to firearms.***
Explain please?
Um...what?
If you're talking about Flight 800, I'm telling you there's no way that was a terror attack.
Maybe you shouldn’t sleep with your Garand.
:)
This is a disgusting comment coming from the head of he FBI.
Your job is to enforce the current law, not go around politicking on “your” opinion on policy.
This should be a headline on the next NRA mag, with his fat mug pasted to it with the label of traitor.
[Robert Mueller says he tends to believe that “weapons harm people, and more often than not they harm the people carrying them.”]
Mueller’s in way over his head. That weapons can harm people is pretty much the point of the 2nd Amen. And if the weapon you’re carrying harms you then you’re an idiot.
How much are they paying this guy?
Oh but’s ok for you to have a gun, Rob? Fire him Bush.
The FBI was fined this week for abusing the powers they have too.
Maybe it is time to do away with the FBI altogether.
Federal law enforcement opposed to the rights of the people?
Well colour me not surprised.
The FBI spends millions of dollars collecting and compiling statistical crime data every year. Yet this moron can’t be bothered to look at the figures compiled by his own organization before he opens his big mouth.
So 51% of all gunshot injuries are self-inflicted or "return fire"?
Bo'bucker holed up in his house. Kicked his cheatin' wife out, piled her stuff in the front yard, etc...
Cops show up and the guy won't come out. Hadn't really threatened anyone, just wanted to be left alone. In marches the Sturm Troopen, who surround the house and start planning up a dynamic entry.
They kick the front and rear at the same time. Guys in the back weren't paying attention when it was mentioned the guys in front would toss a flashbang. FB goes off, guys in back open fire, first SWATtie through the front door gets a 9mm through his skull.
They swiss cheese the po'buckers house with almost 1200 rounds without hitting him. They charge him with murder although he didn't even have a 9mm in the house anywhere. The HK Mp's the SWATties were toting were 9mm.
Looks like they never did do much to reign 'em in either...
