I'd be willing to bet Mrs Speakman never voted for GWB. She is spouting the liberal lemming talking points.

And I question how any bona fide evangelical Christian could even think of supporting Obama or the Democrats. Who do they think is in political bed with the bigoted haters who challenge Christianity in the courts, education, and media?
You don’t vote for people who’s political bedfellows challenge the very essence of your faith, plain and simple.

An Evangelical Presbyterian Church?

I don’t know of one person in my church who would vote for that Marxist.

Politically speaking, Susan Speakman is a different kind of evangelical. Mrs. Speakman, 59, a pastor and educator at Bethany Presbyterian Church in Bridgeville, Pa., an activist evangelical church southwest of Pittsburgh
She ain't and they ain't either. Apostates, yes, Evangelicals, no.

He’s welcome to have them. Evangelicals = Big govt socialists who claim their theft is mandated through Jesus’ teachings. The GOP is better off without such company.

Mrs. Speakman is not pastor, nor is even an associate pastor, according to the "
church website

She is spouting the liberal lemming talking points.Case in point: "she supports Mr. Obama because of his stands on the Iraq war and matters of social justice.
That last phrase "social justice" is a dead giveaway. Who wants to place a wager of either a steak dinner or a six pack of non-Miller beer that we're looking at atheists or Unitarians?

Well, checked out the church and their newsletter for the past few months, and it seems like a nice Christians church. They have a global program, and offer daily activities for everyone.
They seem a lot like Joel Osteen, though. In fact, if you were just reading the literature and asked to guess who wrote it you’d say Joel Osteen.
To: pissant
Sounds as though Mrs. Speakman may be many things but "evangelical" or "born again" she ain't.
No self-respecting person of faith could ever support someone like Obama with his anti-Christian values.
