Personalized fortune cookies sound like a fun idea for a party or business event, right? That's what I thought until I happened upon goodfortunes.com. They provide suggested "Cookie Quotes", and I figured I would use someone else's creative ideas. Since these cookies would go to a group of businesswomen, I naturally browsed the quotations listed under "Prosperity." Here is a sampling of what I found:

I am not kidding. The ENTIRE section is made up of this kind of garbage. Inspiring? I think not! Out of curiosity, I browsed their category, "Patriotism." Predictably, this is what I found:

There were a few patriotic quotes that weren't complete crap, but it's hard to believe they suggest putting this kind of garbage in FORTUNE COOKIES! Well, maybe on second thought, they're hoping to get a contract with the DNC for their convention.
I let them know exactly what I thought of their material and that there's no way I'd ever place an order with them.

There should be Che Guevara cookies that quote him verbatim.
“A revolutionary must be a cold killing machine motivated by pure hate”
“Individualism must disappear!”
“I don’t need proof to execute a man — I only need proof that it’s necessary to execute him.”
“If you don’t vote for Barack Obama, you’re a racist!”
“If you question Barack Obama about anything, you’re a racist!”
