Larry Sinclair–the gay man who’s accused Senator Barack Obama of sharing gay sex and drugs with him in a Gurnee, IL hotel room in 1999–held a press conference at the National Press Club today.
He began the press conference by handing out press packets which contained little new information. He ended up his DC appearance in handcuffs, led away by the DC Police.
He’s currently being held by the DC Police, according to Larry Sinclair Arrested at NPC Press Conference; UPDATE.
[UPDATE at 6:53: Sinclair was arrested by DC Police after 2 US Marshals showed up and presented a warrant from the State of Delaware for Sinclair’s arrest. Montgomery Blair Sibley, who’s had his law license suspended by the District of Columbia and Florida, and who was previously Sinclair’s attorney, reviewed the warrant and then Sinclair was led away.]
Speculation is that the arrest stemmed from a Delaware warrant, although there is also an outstanding felony warrant out for Sinclair from the Pueblo County (CO) Sheriff’s Department.

Good points. Just because he has supposedly committed fraud in the past does NOT mean he is doing so in this case. I hope that someone else with any info. comes forward. With everything surrounding this case though I would suppose if there are others (who are still alive) then they might be scared to come forward. And, if that’s true it’s a real shame...
Obama’s a Moslem, lied about it; he intends to push Reparations through Congress, and pay for it by gutting national defense and homeland security. Larry Sinclair is a sideshow, which is what he’s intended to be.
Hmmmmm. Snobama-messiah’s goons didn’t waste too much time. Me thinks Queen Evita Michelle can play just as low-down mean-dirty with those that stand in the “messiah’s” way just like Queen Evita Hillary did with Willie. After all, the “messiah” is from Chicago, and they play their politics very ugly and dirty in that town.
He might be in fear for his life since the other homo was killed in an accident. Going public would be a good strategy. This would be my guess.

No raw nerves here...in the last 4 1/2 months, we’ve put out 11 pro-Sinclair stories, 14 anti-Larry stories and (including today) 54 anti-Obama stories. We’ll let any objective reader draw their own conclusions about motives from those figures. If Sinclair had produced any evidence in this time, or if he had stuck to one story about many of the details, we’d have probably put out 30 pro-Larry stories. We’re not Obamabots—but we’re not anti-Obamabots either.
Our intense dislike for Obama’s positions was just not reason enough to blindly believe a seasoned conman. It’s going on 5 months and we’re still looking for someone to verify any salient part of Larry’s story.
But then, that’s easy enough for any one to check out.

Your spin on Larry Sinclair’s hotel receipts with the blacked out sentence was just that, pure spin. The lady from Choice was obviously asked to confirm some document that Larry had in his possession, but could not. We do not know the document in question. But the letter clearly says the receipts were for “your (meaning Larry) stay”. Yet your headline screamed that this was some proof of fraud, for no good reason. And Ginn having orgasmsic glee on the Nan and Mitch site is proof you are not even remotely even handed at this point.
YOU may not like Obama, but you are running in circles with some pretty iffy folks. Since I have followed this at least as closely as you have (ah the good old days of DearMurray and the Ron Paul spin), it is fair to say that Sinclair has produced no hard evidence of an encounter with Obama, but it is certainly not fair to say he has been as scattershot as most of his debunkers.
If there were others, they would’ve jumped out to take Whitehouse.com’s or anybody else’s money already. Also, hrc would have found them by now. This guy is a con-artist, in my opinion, hawking a story you want to believe.

That is an issue. Obama seems surrounded by people of dubious character. I still don't know what I think of Larry, but I think some, especialy here, might take this as having more legs if he had played it differently, say an anonymous rumor leak of the connection planted strategically here and there and played it off as "no comments" while acting nervous like he was trying to cover something up.

I have posted a video statement on YouTube in the event anything should happen to me, it is clear that Police are to investigate as a homicide. I do believe from all my heart that the increased threats being made against me must be taken seriously.
You appear to love to pass judgments on others. Thats fine, your judgment and an ounce of sand is worth an ounce of sand here. I prefer to know what is hidden in an empty suit.

pissant has a rare moment of honesty regarding Sinclair.
He has hard evidence of a stay in Gurnee at the time stated. I never said he had proof of meeting Obama. I said he is believable and has corroborating evidence of him being there. You are the one who has been making the definitive claims he is a fraud.
