Assuming that his mom is a fit parent, of course. We don’t know that the court didn’t award custody based solely on parental gender.
Hard to say. Could be a multitude of circumstances.
Agreed, though the prayer was I added my amen to was for the safety of a child caught in an obviously difficult situation. God knows where that child is the safest, and we beseech Him to answer our prayers to keep him or restore this boy to that place.
I’m with you, though: some of these cases where the father is portrayed as a villain is simply a heartbroken dad who is frustrated with the system keeping him away from the child he deeply loves. My heart goes out to and breaks for such fathers and their children.
Mine wasn't as bad as most, we went into the divorce proceedings knowing two things:
We had done everything we could (short of murder or suicide, and that was a very close thing!) to avoid divorce, and
that every decision we made would be based on what was best for the kids.
Please feel free to post an unflattering photo of yourself so that the rest of us may critique your appearance. (Using your OWN standards, of course.)
You first.
Are you his brother?
Or sister?
Did she deserve it?..
Exactly. I refuse to participate in these (unless I had direct personal knowledge of the circumstances) because I suspect the majority of them are cases like this where I might be getting used to help enforce a custody judgment I would never have agreed with had I been there in person.
Even worse, how do I know there’s even a child involved and not just some guy the government has a beef against for not paying his taxes, or child support, or carrying a copy of the Constitution, etc. This system seems tailor made to persuade us to inform on people who may very well not have done what they’re telling us they did.
Kind of like the LE version of the legislative refrain “It for the chillrun........”
