Mark is going on hiatus. He states that FreeDominion is under attack and needs some support. They have always been friends of us at FR. I dont exactly know what is happening to them but I suppose it is similar to Steyn's fight.
Couldnt find anything on either topic in searches, but I am willing to be wrong

Briefly, what was the result of the show trial.....who were the defendant(s) and the plaintiff(s)?
I think others may want to know, also.....given Mark Steyn is a favorite here. Thanks.

Hi, Backhoe....it's too much to read that whole thread. Do you know the verdict and who lost and who won?

No verdict. The kangaroo’s are out ruminating on a verdict. Steyn hopes they vote to convict so he can appeal it to a REAL court.

This situation makes me wonder how soon it will be before FR is just as equally attacked, and how soon will it be before the Fairness Doctrine is fully enacted throughout the U.S.? Bad times are truly coming soon to the U.S. for only God knows how long.

Thanks, Backhoe. The link is a big help.

What I haven’t seen in reading about this is why Mark Steyn went to the proceedings. Was he subpoenaed and if so under what authority does a Canadian court subpoena a U.S. citizen?

> why Mark Steyn went to the proceedings I cannot say for certain, but I remember he said that he wanted to lose, because then the appeal would have to go before a real court, not the charade of a "human rights" commission.
