Tim Russert, NBC journalist and political heavyweight host of "Meet the Press," has died after collapsing at NBC's Washington news bureau, a source said. He was 58 years old.
Gods Speed Tim Russert.
Don't forget that question was the one that Rush Limbaugh was screaming that someone in the media should be asking her. Tim Russert picked up on it.
“You be sure and get back to me when youre able to cite the posters may not ask questions part of the TOS, yhear?”
If I had any idea what the heck you are talking about, I would answer.
I pray for his soul and I pray that his replacement won’t be a leftist.
Myocardial infarction results in collapse, sometimes if help is available and the condition is recognized resuscitation can be performed; fibrillation results in weakness and often collapse and again, if recognized, measures such as defibrillation can be performed and normal rythmn restored.
Blood clots can travel from the lower extremities to the heart or lungs and result in collapse asymptomatically to the patient.
Sudden cessation of the heart without a blockage or a demonstrated arrythmnia is possible but quite rare among patients under normal medical care.
arrhythmia
My memory is telling me that a P.E.(pulmonary embolus) generally gives chest pain.
RIP Mr. Russert...condolences to his family and friends...I did not agree with his politics, but this is just so sad...far too young to pass from this screwed up world...
Who in the world considered him removed from the human race?He was very much a part of the human race, a very influential member.
Very strange comment you make.
Juxtapose that with Dan Rather who looked confident when they had called Florida for Gore and then grim when they had to withdraw that prediction. By early morning Dan was babbling metaphors that made absolutely zero sense.
I flipped channels all night until I practically collapsed from exhaustion. Thanks for the great memory Mr. Russert.
RIP. Prayers going up for your Family.
Too bad he felt the need to keep it a secret.
The left hand is not supposed to know what the right hand is doing when it is giving alms or charity. Christ taught is not to brag about our charity.
First, let me say that I always liked Tim Russert and in the link below, writtein in 2004, I rate the political talk show pundits. Should you decide to click in, you will note that Russert was my SECOND choice of best political moderator.
That being so said, it's time for me to speculate who will take Tim's place. Because I got a feeling that my WORST political pundit from my Blog post linked above is chomping at the bit to assume his rightful place on the throne.
I speak specifically of....TADA...Chris Matthews. Who, I note, is NOT hosting his Hardball show tonight but hey, it might have already been planned.
Now I'm not saying that NBC is crazy enough to actually use Chris Matthews on its famous and benchmark of political talk shows..."Meet the Press"...but I betcha a couple of big bucks ole Chrissy thinks he is the rightful heir.
Also, NBC DOES keep Keith Olberman hanging around and this guy is known far and wide as an asshole, forgive my French, so NBC could be stupid enough to give it to Matthews.
Other possibilities....David Gregory, pock-marked Andrea Mitchell...maybe it's time for a woman, who knows? If life were fair, I'd go for Chris Wallace but I know he's a Fox guy. But in my mind Chris would be the guy to fill Tim's shoes.
Strange things do happen and hey, NBC has got to REAL quick get somebody on that show. We've got an election coming up and "Meet the Press" is a show that even the ladies at the beauty parlor know about. It simply would not do to leave that show in a vacuum so I'm thinking that by next week, no later than the week after, there will be appointed by NBC a replacement for Tim Russert as moderator of Meet the Press.
Right now I can't think of any other pundit that could fill in...Brit Hume is too conservative.
You can believe that lots of people will be campaigning for the job and it should be interesting.
I think one of the main reasons I liked listening to him was that he actually listened to his opponent’s statement and came back with a fairly intelligent response.
No, you did not take my comment in context. I was referring to "death" and "sick" threads related to celebs (as in celebs who are ILL).
They are over the top in adoration IMO.
I lost my younger/only brother five years ago today, and the ticket window keeps gettin' closer.
Given the current state of our nation, some days I'm almost at peace with that reality.
RIP, Tim.
nice, God takes the only fair poly dude away.
