SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO -- The boyfriend of San Francisco's planning director pleaded no contest today to misdemeanor driving under the influence after he trashed the city's historic fire chief's home, drove away drunk and was pulled over in San Mateo County.
Lance Farber, 48, was not present in court in South San Francisco and entered the plea through his attorney, San Mateo County prosecutors said. Farber was sentenced to three years' probation and two days in jail, one of which he has already served, Assistant District Attorney Morley Pitt said. Farber was also ordered to complete a first-offender DUI program, Pitt said.
Farber will probably serve his remaining jail sentence in the San Mateo County sheriff's work program, picking up roadside trash or performing a similar task. Farber's attorney did not return a call seeking comment.
Farber was arrested Feb. 22 on Highway 101 in Millbrae after he overturned furniture, set a bed on fire and smeared crushed tomatoes on the floors and walls in the Dennis T. Sullivan Memorial Fire Chief's Home at 870 Bush St. in San Francisco, authorities said.
Farber had been staying in the home with his boyfriend, San Francisco Planning Director John Rahaim, who had been hired a few months earlier and moved here with Farber from Seattle.

Hissy fit!
Hee hee hee.
It’s because Johnny is SUCH a B1+TCH!!!
He used DUI because the Twinkie defense has been overused.
It is his mothers fault for naming him Lance.
“Lance Farber”
Lance, perfect name for a mo! Should probably change his last name to “Farter.” Bet he has “swordfights” with his boyfriend!
His boytoy was a flamer?
Not guilty by reason of extreme faggotry
If I changed my name to Lance, moved to San Fagcisco, and did $50,000 worth of damage to a historical site, could I also avoid jail time, hmmm??
