Clinton Endorses Obama, Suspends Historic Bid for the White House
Fox News ^ | 06-07-2008

Hillary Clinton publicly and enthusiastically endorsed Barack Obama for president Saturday in Washington D.C., as she suspended her historic bid for the White House.

“The way to continue our fight now … is to take our energy, our passion, our strength and do all that we can to help elect Barack Obama the next president of the United States,” she said to cheering supporters. “Today as I suspend my campaign, I congratulate him on the victory he has won, and the extraordinary race he has run. I endorse him and throw my full support behind him.”

Actually its better to let the democrats screw up for four years than elect a RINO to screw it up. The dems will win in 2012 and keep it for eight.

The downside to that logic is Iraq will truley be a debacle.

Apart from Iraq McCain will screw us for sure.

How is this campaign any different than Patsy Schroder’s failed run for the Presidency.

And there was Elizbeth Dole.

Am sick and tired of the media praising this vile woman.

And we can count on her putting Chelsea up for congress in NY, sooner rather than later.

We will never be rid of this family of grifters.

“unless enough kook conservatives vote for a looser third party kook.”

That’s very possible unfortunately. We got a few of them here on FR.

McCain is a goner anyway. He has as much as Don Quixote. If there was ever an election, when people should feel free to vote for a principled third party, this is it. McCain doesn’t have a chance so why waste your vote on him?

The only vote that’s going to waste is a thrid party vote.

Actually, let me correct that. It won’t be going to waste it will go to Obama.

I’m not a huge fan of McCain but I would MUCH rather see him as POTUS than that empty-suit marxist Obama and his raving, racist lunatic wife.

That’s supposition. In other words you don’t know that that will happen. With Obama it’s guaranteed. It’s time to grow up and realize that not everyone is going to hold your opinion 100% of the time. But 65% is far preferable to 5%.

Quick!

Someone drive a stake through her heart — to keep her “dead”.

RUSH:...She’s going to ask to hold onto her delegates for now. She’s going to hold — folks, she thinks something’s going to drop out there. I’m telling you, the only reason to do this — well, she may still be angling for veep, but it’s amazing how many Democrats don’t want her or Bill anywhere near that. No, no, no, no. Now they’re talking about Kathleen Sebelius and some other babe, I forget who. Oh, yeah. Janet Napolitano. Any woman but Hillary. So she’s going to hold onto her delegates. She thinks something’s about to drop or will drop or something is going to happen.

and she’ll be 64 years old then 68 years old yada yada. Why do you think people voted for Obama. NOT because he was 60 years old. Because he is youthful, strong, full of hope and promise and 46 years old.

Then bury her under a cross road at midnight

I totally agree with Rush. Hillary is holding out hope something is going to drop on Obama otherwise WHY retain her delegates why not merely QUIT the campaign and give the delegates to Obama instead of "SUSPEND" her run?

It may be wishful thinking on my part, but I garauntee you all she will get something out of this if she truly is ending her campaign. Until the convention delegates vote FOR Obama or Hillary actually QUITS, I think there is a possiblity she will be nominated.

Again, what are the 18m going to do who voted for Hillary, vote for McPita?

How about you and everyone else bashing McCain around here 24/7 stop worrying about whether you’re whining (at this point, you are), and address this:

OBAMA IS THE PROBLEM.

Liberalism is the problem.

We "whiners" want to stop the encroachment of government on our liberties.

We "whiners" don't wnat status quo.

We "whiners" are not supporting McCain nor Obama.

I personally would rather have Obama than McCain: that shows you how little I think of McCain.
