Cardinal George gets what Barack Obama only understood under pressure:
The firebrand pastor of St. Sabina parish was removed from his duties there Tuesday, according to a statement released by the Archdiocese of Chicago.
In the statement, Cardinal Francis George says he asked the Rev. Michael Pfleger, 59, to "take leave for a couple of weeks from his pastoral duties." The statement said Pfleger "does not believe this to be the right step at this time." "While respecting his disagreement, I have nevertheless asked him to use this opportunity to reflect on his recent statements and actions in the light of the Church's regulations for all Catholic priests," George said.
Did Obama know about these things when he subsidized the same hate that the Catholic Church is suspending him for? What about his contributions? ($22,500 in 2006 and $26,270 in 2007)

Ha ha ha! Pfleger gets what he richly deserves.
The thing that gets to me is Daley and the fact that Ayers Dad was head of the Power Company...and apparently sees no problem with his son’s bombing activities.
It won't be -- "temporary" means 'til the media heat is off.
Last time George tried to get rid of him, his response was "Make me!" and George did nothing. This time, he'll go (temporarily) -- but only because the Chicago/Obama machine says so. That's my take.

Good point. Scriptural authority and Christian doctrine has been hashed out over the last five hundred years by thousands of Protestant scholars and every point has been hammered and forged, proven and settled upon.
