Today is Sunday, June 1st and the Puerto Rico primary voting takes place from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. ET.
Welcome to the only forum on the web in the mainland United States (that I know of!) monitoring LIVE all the details, voting, exit polling and results for todays Puerto Rico Democratic primary! Many thanks to Jim Robinson and all of you at FreeRepublic.com for your support!
Will Hillarys popular vote tally move up substantially after todays primary? After all, there are over 2 million Puerto Ricans eligible to vote, and theres usually an 80-85% percent voting turnout on the island during different elections. Will this primary define whether she stays .. or whether she says Sayonara!? As Yogi Berra once said: Its not over until the fat lady sings, right?
Join us LIVE as we follow the islands news media and other outlets. Also, our deepest thanks to our main source in Puerto Rico, Freeper cll, for his input, analysis and important information throughout the past few weeks. We will be getting analysis and other tidbits of information straight from his mouth today, as well as from the mouths of other island residents who might join us later.
According to the Puerto Rican media, CNN will be the only network to have access to exit polling. The network decided to foot the entire bill, which will run in the neighborhood of $100,000, after its National Election Pool partners initially decided against splitting the costs.

The thread is now in breaking news. Thanks.
I was laughing just now listening to John Roberts of CNN trying to pronounce “Guayama” and “Humacao”....... what’s going on in your neighborhood/polling area? How’s turnout?
Hillary ain't going anywhere.... Harold Ickes and Stephanie Tubbs-Jones were on TV this morning and they both looked as if they were about to have a stroke or coronary or something.... The Clintonistas are all royally pissed off at this DNC decision, especially the "unfair" Michigan delegates' split.... Hillary told a CNN En Español reporter yesterday that she's not going anywhere, regardless of the DNC decision....

Exit polls aren’t always accurate.
two stupid questions...
1- does the PR primary have a delegate count??
1A- if yes do they count those delegates in the final delegate total for rat candidates??
2- do the Republicans have a PR primary or any other non-state (example Guam) primary???
thanks....
I’m going out to vote right now.
Turn out seems pretty good.
Did you hear that Obama’s people sort of conceded?
1- P.R. has 55 delegates and 8 superdelegates for the DNC.
2- All delegates are counted in the tally for the Democratic candidates.
3- Republicans had a caucus in P.R. in February. They will have, I believe, about 15 or so delegates going to the RNC convention. Puerto Rico is heavily Democratic.
You mean Wolf? What did he say?
Nope. CNN has been reporting that exit polling in San Juan metro shows Obama ahead in some areas.
Waiting for Geraldo's take at 2 p.m. ET on Fox News Channel.
After watching Hillary campaign continuously for the last year or so and seeing her eating up the applause from her adoring fans, I can’t help but wonder what will happen to her when it’s all over which should be soon. I doubt if going back to the Senate as a junior senator will make up for all the excitement. I wouldn’t be surprised if she goes into a deep funk and Bill as well. Both of them need to be the center of attention (and they have had it) but those days are about to end and the country as a whole will be glad to see the last of them.
Bleeeechhh!
“As Yogi Berra once said: Its not over until the fat lady sings, right?”
Wrong. What he actually said was, “It’s not over until it’s over.”
Okay.... who said the “fat lady” thing?!
Richard Wagner?
