I tried to sign the petition last nite.
It said I already had. (???!!!???)
Then my daughter tried to add her name (and different email address) and it wouldn’t accept it, either.
Here is a link to the petition

It is time to start a writing and calling campaign to Congress with this message: DRILL HERE & DRILL NOW! I like the sound of it.
The Democrats in Congress will pursue this agenda and continue to blame “big oil” when gasoline prices soar, we have shortages and rationing like in the 1970s and the economy is in massive recession. Hillary stumping in South Dakota said we don’t need any more drilling, just more windmills, punishing of the oil companies and less gas usage. She obviously isn’t paying much attention as to how one has to get around out here on the prairie.
Drill more - pay less!
Drill Alaska Screw dat! Come to Pennsylvania.
The site does not work, or is somehow screwed up. It is not accepting new signatures.
The CEOs of our oil companies should re-assemble a forum in which they would interrogate these twits who would stall domestic drilling until China has succeeded in sucking up all the oil that lies off the coast of Florida and Americans will be paying $10 for a gallon of gas and $5 for a dozen eggs.
They have inhaled too many ethanol fumes.
What they continually prove is that they are absolutely incapable of 'running the show' and it doesn't matter which party is in power. Their arms must ache from so much 'reaching out.'
MEGA-PING!
Unbelievably, all the polls are predicting that the democRATS will make huge gains in the house and senate this coming November.
We, therefore, the undersigned citizens of the United States, petition the U.S. Congress to act immediately to lower gasoline prices by authorizing the exploration of proven energy reserves to reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources from unstable countries.

This ping list is not author-specific for articles I'd like to share. Some for the perfect moral clarity, some for provocative thoughts; or simply interesting articles I'd hate to miss myself. (I don't have to agree with the author all 100% to feel the need to share an article.) I will try not to abuse the ping list and not to annoy you too much, but on some days there is more of the good stuff that is worthy of attention. You can see the list of articles I pinged to lately on my page.
You are welcome in or out, just freepmail me (and note which PING list you are talking about). Besides this one, I keep 2 separate PING lists for my favorite authors Victor Davis Hanson and Orson Scott Card.
It must be getting around like gangbusters!
It’s over 188,000 right now!
If only Congress were a bunch of “do-nothings” because we’d probably better off if they did nothing.
“As of about 8:30 pm Thursday, the petition had about 150,700 signatures. Gingrich aims to get 200,000 signatures by this coming Monday.”
Well, they’ve already hit their Monday mark:
“We currently have 210,275 signatures”
