I won’t “waste” energy June 12, or any other day for that matter. But even though June 12 is a Thursday, I’ll have a cookout, get my son to cut the grass, and have the TV on in the garage (the 7th such item I own) while I drink a few beers out of my garage refrigerator (the 3rd such item in my home). Then play some Blitzkrieg on my office computer (got 5 of them), while the kids play “Rock Band” on their video game (of which they have 4). And yes, I will belch.

Tell Barack Obama to take his “do with less” mentality and shove it! I’m middle class American, and proud thereof!

Since when is being wasteful one of our values? I really don't like to be wasteful, and I would never go out of my way to deliberately waste. Ask your parents or grandparents about the great depression, and the virtue of thrift.

Sounds like fun....... at someone else's expense. I could do some cheaper things like burn leaves, fill my truck bed with trash and fly down the highway if I need to make the trip to town, outlet my sewer to the creek out back. I too could be a rebel.
