SECNAV Names New Guided-Missile Destroyer USS Michael Murphy

Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), the Honorable Dr. Donald C. Winter, announced the name of the next guided-missile destroyer as USS Michael Murphy (DDG 112) during the ceremony. Leroy, fire supportman, with Fire Support Team, Weapons Platoon, Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, NATO-International Security Assistance Force, scan the terrain to locate their next target using the new Target Location, Designation, and Hand-off System during a live-fire range in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. Same thing goes for stitches itching (after Doc says OK) as goes for Chicken-Pox Baking-Soda Bath or Calamine lotion.
Worked for me and 2 hernia surgeries.

This Memorial Day as every day in my life, I thank God for the great men and women of the US Armed Forces! Those that have laid down their lives for me and my family are in my prayers daily.
We’ll spend the weekend between memorial services and baseball tournies. May God continue to bless America.
