Sounds like we’re more popular in Iran than we are in the Blue parts of the US...
I really wish we could help the Iranians get rid of their government without screwing that up... but I can’t see a way to do it. No way any sort of airwar can be intense and thorough enough to fix the Iranian govnerment and not mess up the rest of the country.
Agree... the strategy expressed here is not viable... too many end games. A popular up rising planned so that we can support it rapidly as a revolution for freedom is much better in every respect. There needs to be real leaders in the forefront not exploiters like we saw in Iraq. If leading Iranians will put their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor on the line for freedom we should support them... otherwise we need to contain them and isolate them as much as possible.

What are we waiting for? ;-)
Thanx for ping.”The goal should be to carry out sustained airstikes over a 48 to 72 hour period that would decapitate the regime.”Sounds good to me.Could airstrikes alone do the job?I’m not knowledgeable re: military/covert ops,but i believe it would be a good idea to offer support(weapons, logistics, etc)to Iranians willing to take on what’s left of the regime. We need to eliminate these neanderthals permenantly.
I'm ambivalent....

The more air strikes the better for Tehran’s Islamic tyrants. The sooner the safer — for our troops in Iraq & Afghanistan!
Have you, by any chance, looked at how many originate from the same subnet? ;-)
Good humor but I have not been able to ID any trend, social structure or tribal affiliations.
many of them come through “second hand” via family members, who I doubt encourage the death of their relatives. I hope not!
Most of them are also in reaction to certain events inside Iran rather than a “hit us and hit us hard” bluster.

I believe sincerely that Mr. Timmerman and NewsWax would like for these stories to be true, and are "reporting" on that basis.
No comment - they come in groups, and my eyes ain't what they used-to-be.
Stay well, L ............ FRegards
The grandson of Ayatollah Khomeini, the inspiration of Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution, has broken a three-year silence to back the United States military to overthrow the country's clerical regime.
Think about the Straits of Hormuz being blocked resulting in no tanker traffic. Think about oil at $250/bbl. Think about fuel/food riots. Think about a democrat controlled government (socialist and marxist) trying to address the economic and strategic crisis we find ourselves in.
Think about the re introduction of the draft to support a 3rd front in the WOT.
Think about war with Iran when you weigh the facts and costs.
Thanks very much for the ping and for giving us the info we won’t see in the MSM.
I’ve heard that before, that Khomeini’s grandson was against the mullahs...the epitomy of irony. Or perhaps “irany”...
Perfect! Muslims have a thing for anniversaries as it is. I'm sure they would appreciate the irony.
Exactly. Don't stop till every military installation is rubble, then bounce the rubble. And while were at it, take out those opulent villas that the the Iranian leadership live in. They need to pay a personal price.
