"A little learning is a dangerous thing," wrote Alexander Pope.
Daily, our 43rd president testifies to Pope's point.
Addressing the Knesset on the 60th anniversary of Israel's birth, Bush said those who say we should negotiate with Iran or Hamas are like the fools who said we should negotiate with Adolf Hitler.

Better than Pat Buchanan playing the “Jew card”.

    Bush Plays the Hitler Card

I would think that would increase Pat's admiration of Bush, not repel him.

Playing the “Hitler card” means comparing someone to Hitler. Bush played the “Chamberlain card” (and he was justified to do so).

Pat’s been spending too much time with his buddies on MSNBC (the pretend news organization).

Sounds like Pat took that comment personally.

How can someone who can write so many brilliant columns on domestic matters such as cultural issues and sovereignty, write such imbecilic drivel on foreign policy issues? Buchanan almost reached Paul Craig Roberts levels of anti-Semitism and inanity on this one.

"But did not Ronald Reagan's negotiations with the Evil Empire, as he rebuilt America's military might, bear fruit in a reversal of Moscow's imperial policy and an end to the Cold War?" Batty Patty fails to grasp the Islamist mindset, as usual. The Russians could be dealt with through negotiation because, as wrong as they were ideologically, they were/are a sane people.
Those who believe in returning 12th Imams and dozens of virgins waiting for them in heaven for killing "infidels" are most certainly not sane by any measure.

Ease up on Buchanan. He lost a relative at Auschwitz.
He fell out of the guard tower.

That’s the first Buchanan piece I’ve read in a long time, it reminded me why I stopped reading them.

Pat’s the one who “made hash of history”.
I’ve never before considered Mr. Buchanan to be a STUPID man; but this article pretty much speaks for itself.

Typical Freeper response. Read as far as “Written by Pat Buchanan” and then scream “anti-semite!” So any of you who actually read it do you have an actual logical disagreement to what was written backed up soemthing besides “anti-semite!”
