My Favorite Liberal and I both drive Scion xBs. We are often driving to the same place, but will take two cars simply because I usually like to arrive early and she is habitually late. So when we drive our two oh-so-virtuous small cars and park them right next to one another, we are getting a combined 12 MPG (We always drive real fast, because I like to arrive early and she is always late... but you knew that).

But O'Bambi's Petrol Police will wave us right through the roadblock. It is only the SUV drivers that will be pulled aside for re-education.

I don't keep my house at 72 degrees in the winter, it has always been set at 68...and so is everyone else I know. Except, maybe for some older folks who have problems with circulation and keeping warm. And if they worked hard, paid their bills..they are entitled to keep warm.

This just proves how out of touch with the "common man" Obama is. He probably keeps his mansion at 72 year round. I don't even have whole house A/C. I have window units I turn on at night, a large attic fan, lots of insulation, and big trees that give me shade. I have low summer cooling costs. What does Obama pay to cool his mansion, I wonder. He is nutso...he has no idea how someone who is not an "elitist" lives. Nor does Michelle...who complained about costs of raising her daughters, cost of camp, clothes, etc. when they earn so much. Maybe they just do not know how to budget and tighten their belts like the majority of Americans. If they are in the WH, be prepared for rules for the rest of us to follow while they continue spending like the other rich Democrats, most of whom are the liberals in politics or Hollywood and have no intention of cutting back on their expenses and being thrifty. They just tell others what to do, what to give up, and how we must live.
