State of Arkansas -
Act 419 of 1995 (Arkansas Statute 5-73-301)
Is there a 2008 map? The map above keeps refilling so you can’t copy it for the current year. Thanks
Article 16th. Right to bear arms; standing armies; military power subordinate to civilThat the people have a right to bear arms for the defence of themselves and the State - and as standing armies in time of peace are dangerous to liberty, they ought not to be kept up; and that the military should be kept under strict subordination to and governed by the civil power.
You may want to add DC to the map since the issue is so contentious there right now.
I will get you appropriate citations for Maryland. It is technically a “may issue” state, but it would be more accurate to call it a “can issue but don’t hold your breath” state.
Non-Partisan? A fact is a fact to everyone, except Wikipedians. There, everything is an opinion disguised as fact when a majority shares that opinion.
Anyway, best wishes to you. You will need to go to the websites of all the states where possible - and where not possible use multiple other sources. In addition, your terminology may get challenged... as “right to carry” will be interpreted differently. Technically Vermont may be the only “right to carry” state since the others do not honor the right, they require permission from the state or local authorities. So be careful how you phrase things.
I hoped one day that a federal reciprocation law would pass, forcing the non-compliant states to comply. Imagine the irony if an Arizona citizen could carry concealed in California based on the reciprocal rights law, while Californians could not. There would be an uproar. But alas, I don’t hold my breath.
Here is an additional source for you - though knowing wiki they may ban you just for posting it if the moderator doesn’t like the resource:

Truly amazing! Thanks!

What would be cool is to add the names of the then current president in the map.
And the party of the govner of each state.
(To show who was in power when the changes took place, etc)
Of course it might become political then...

It appears as though the Wik-Kommies like to play Calvinball with gun rights, too.

If I were a teacher at *any* level K through graduate school, Wiki references in any assignment would be an automtic “F”. But that’s because I’m a grump...
