Did you say Norm?
Democrat Congresscritter, Senator or Activist,
Two weeks ago the talking point being put out by your part to explain your opposition to any development of the USA’s own energy resources was that “We cannot drill our way out of this problem”
This week you Democrats are all claiming credit for “forcing OPEC to increase production”
Since, as you Democrats just claimed, increased production of Oil is the solution to high energy prices, why does your Party believe it is better for the USA to buy Oil from OPEC rather then produce it ourselves?
On another note, 'People' has a picture of Jenna in her wedding dress, and an article about the wedding. This is the first issue I have purchased in years.
I think you are right, new media will keep making them admit the truth but it will take time.
Brilliant post as usual Morgan!
And you are right it will take time. But even with the RNC screwing up big time over and over the truth a will still be here on the net, at talk radio and read in a few papers that get it.
For all those who care, the flag will still be raised here and proudly waved day after day. Freedom, Justice and the American Way will still be honored and obeyed here and those who cherish it will find us and join in the campaign to save America.
If memory serves correctly, I believe Rush once rambled away in a monolouge where he said something along these lines, (and I’m paraphrasing): “A big liberal Dem in the White House for 4 years with a Dem Congress will mean major economic pitfalls; think Jimmy Carter’s Misery Index. And you know what Jimmy Carter gave us. Hillary with unfetterd access to our economy means total destruction of the Dem party. They will lose the White House and their majorites in 2012 for the next fifty years.”
Okay, really taking liberties on the paraphrasing thing, but basically I believe Rush said what Ann Coulter has been saying and others just presently are beginning to articulate. If we are screwed, better by a Dem. Let them take the blame for governmental disaster. I’m starting to agree and if it were not for the military and the threat of terrorism, I’d be solidly in that camp of thought.
Absolutely Bernard.

Pelosi, a top Democratic critic of the U.S.-led war in Iraq, expressed confidence that expected provincial elections will promote national reconciliation.
She welcomed Iraqs progress in passing a budget as well as oil legislation, and a bill paving the way for the provincial elections in the fall that are expected to more equitably redistribute power among local officials.
Were assured the elections will happen here, they will be transparent, they will be inclusive and they will take Iraq closer to the reconciliation we all want it to have, said Pelosi.

Democrats have a lot of pride to swallow, the American Troops worked hard everyday to get this far, while Democrats threaten their mission still.
Mike Murphy believes Obama is an honest guy.
So much for Mike Murphy.
For the break:
(Scroll down at least to video proof of Press and Obama’s lie on McCain and Obama/Wright lies video evidence #1000000
Well, Johnnie, not to be one of the negative people that Rush dislikes so much.....But....
When Durbin made such a demonstratively stupid and laughable statement as “We can’t drill our way to lower prices,” not ONE republican got on a soap box to shout out what a fool Durbin was, or to even challenge the stupidity of the statement.
No Republican rebuted Durbin, except here on Free Republic, of course.
I could not pitch them a softer softball like this if I hand carried it down from the mound to the plate and set it on a post.
Problem is much of the country obeys rules, laws, religions that date back hundreds of years. Bringing any of these countries into the 21st century cannot always be a accomplished in a few months. I am guessing sometimes tribal laws in Iraq may trump all else.
It's gotta be a zoo to even try and rule that place, I know could never do it.
Times will change in the mid-east just look at Dubai, the UAE, and other areas. Evolution is possible. It probably won't happen over night however.
Example of how that won't wash.... Katrina
they will always blame everything on "W" for years to come and then
the next (R) that shows up will be next in line for the same crap
its the Lieberalcrats way of doing business.
Dam I miss that show!Cheers TPD!!
Judges. Don't forget the judges. At least two and as many as FOUR Supreme Court Justices will retire in the next 4-8 years. Then there are all of the lesser judges a President appoints.
This election - in my opinion - is about only two thing: the war against terror and judges.
I too love that show....of course I over look Sams real life attitudes to enjoy the show...LOL
I’ve been surprised how much I’m increasingly thinking the same way. One byproduct of which is a philosophical position whatever the outcome. It’s hard to know in your bones that any particular circumstance won’t in the long run serve us better than the other.
A really appealing veep would help muster some enthusiasm for McCain, but how likely is it that he’ll choose such a running mate?
One interesting question is why did the Republicans in congress so quickly go bad under power? Is it that true believers just don’t often run for or win public office? Is it that power corrupts and the rewards for selling out to gargantuan government are just too temptingly large? Does politics so attract and reward narcissists that, like flowers turning to the sun, they inevitably turn toward the favor and praise of the press?
We know how rare and special Reagan was, but certainly there must be at least a few potential leaders who as true believers are, like Reagan, intent on and capable of taking that message to a majority of voters?
Happy to hear your are doing well Fishtalk!
Ohio was rapidly becoming a “purple” state until the resignation of our A.G. this week. The democrat Gov. signed a bill authorizing an investigation by the state I.G. the night before Marc Dann resigned, and now it cannot be stopped. This issue will be front and center in Ohio for the next several months, leading up to the general election.
The whole issue might push Ohio back to “red” state status.
Never give up hope!!!
You know the only thing about the Judiciary issue is how can I trust McCain to appoint a judge who isn’t a Ruth Bader Gingsburg redo? I’m not attempting to be snarky either or take issue with your thought. I literally have nill for confidence that McCain will apppoint constructionist judges.
