Dr. Arthur Robinson (OISM) to Release Names of over 30,000 Scientists
StreetInsider.com ^ | 5-15-2008 | Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine

Posted on 05/17/2008 12:11:35 PM PDT by Entrepreneur

Who: Dr. Arthur Robinson of the OISM

What: release of names in OISM "Petition Project"

When: 10 AM, Monday May 19

Where: Holeman Lounge at the National Press Club, 529 14th St., NW, Washington, DC

Why: the Oregon Institute of Science and Medicine (OISM) will announce that more than 31,000 scientists have signed a petition rejecting claims of human-caused global warming. The purpose of OISM's Petition Project is to demonstrate that the claim of "settled science" and an overwhelming "consensus" in favor of the hypothesis of human-caused global warming and consequent climate damage is wrong. No such consensus or settled science exists. As indicated by the petition text and signatory list, a very large number of American scientists reject this hypothesis.

It is evident that 31,072 Americans with university degrees in science - including 9,021 PhDs, are not "a few." Moreover, from the clear and strong petition statement that they have signed, it is evident that these 31,072 American scientists are not "skeptics."

Don't they know the science is settled and there's a concensus? Al said so and he's an Academy Award Winning Nobel Laureate with lots of important and famous friends, an innovative carbon trading business, and a hundred million in the bank since leaving government service. Why would Al lie?

Reminds me of Einstein’s reply to a journalist when asked what he had to say about the 100 German scientists who had signed an article denouncing the “Jewish” theory of relativity.

-”If I were wrong it would have sufficed with a single one.”

"consensus science"

this fraud and the ability to drill should become the conservative mantra and we should insist on it for our candidate

We can't afford another day of 'silent spring'

it should be considered a central national security issue

we can't be allowed to be held hostage by Saudis who are held hostage by fundamentalist islamic sects

.

McCain will do nothing to annoy his liberal bestest buddies. These are the people he believes will give him the White House, as he is condescending enough towards and contemptouos enough of conservatives to figure that they will be FORCED to support him in order to avoid an Obama regime. Remember, this is the traitor who worked to fast-track his immigration amnesty bill through the Senate. It would have turned this nation into “little Mexico” by inviting 100 million Mexicans into the US. Disease, crime, welfare...all because he thought this illiterate mob would have generated a few votes in his bid for the White House. Count on McCain to do what is best for McCain. Should it benefit the US as well, it will be purely accidental.

Dr. Robinson also publishes a monthly energy and hard-science newsletter called “Access to Energy.” I recommend it most highly.

In addition to “scientists,” they should include engineers and chemists, too. The number would swell way beyond 30,000.

I would be glad to add the signature of a physical chemist. Where do I sign up?

I have not been polled on this question. They could get a lot more than 31,072 if they dug around a little more.

Is Dr. Algore one of the signers? If not, the petition is invalid.
