People gaze in disbelief at the cultural landscape — all the divorce, cohabitation, promiscuity, sexually transmitted disease, single moms, ill-mannered children, failing public schools, substance abuse, domestic violence, abortions, pornography and incivility — and can't fathom how America fell this far this fast.
No one event triggered this devolution, but it undeniably was pushed along many times by the moral relativism of the last 50 years, when most of society's widely accepted norms were undermined by the quicksand of nonjudgmentalism; when the concepts of right and wrong, good and bad, were abolished in favor of differences that were to be respected if not celebrated, and codified when necessary to surmount widespread public opposition.
Paradoxically, people and institutions whose beliefs do not permit them to tolerate the most abhorrent differences were judged to be evil. Through rigid enforcement of increasingly fascist speech and thought codes, relativists turned America into a nation of lip-biters who with their silence condoned as normal behaviors and beliefs that are irrefutably unnatural and inherently immoral.
At every step of this long downward cultural march were men and women in black robes, activist judges eager to take out another of society's underpinnings under the guise of some spurious, high-sounding goal. And at every step, relativists declared that the latest judicial fiat freeing another genie of man's worst impulses would, inexplicably, make society stronger, fairer, safer, better.
Thursday's California Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage followed the script, but was at best redundant — its Massachusetts counterpart broke this ground four years ago with the identical one-vote margin — and was more symbolic than significant. Homosexuals already enjoy all of the rights and benefits of traditional marriage under California law, which treats homosexuality and heterosexuality as functional equivalents.
No, the ruling merely answered homosexuals' purely emotional plea for cultural acceptance by giving civil unions their proper label — "marriage" — the will of Californians, as democratically expressed twice, and the dark societal consequences be damned. Far from being a seminal ruling, the decision merely inched the homosexual agenda ahead and drove yet another nail in the culture's coffin.

While I agree that activist judges are part, let us not forget the ruling elite of this country. It is worse now that the republican party became the dummocrat party.

That's what I always got when I tried to enter a blank reply, until today when I wanted to make a blank comment on the kennedy thread. I finally figured out one way to do it.

Double that for the otherwise-decent “independents,” “moderates,” and “Reagan Democrats” who’s votes provide political cover for the left-wing.
In my opinion, once divorce became acceptable, that opened the floodgates. Adlai Stevenson was divorced (his wife was insane), and that was a charge made against him. (Though even if Stevenson wasn’t divorced he still probably would have lost against Ike.) It is said that Ike didn’t divorce Mamie and marry Kay Sommersbye because in those days it would have ruined his career. Today, no one thinks divorcing one spouse to marry another is remarkable.
Accepting divorce is the camel’s nose under the tent flap. Now, people who complain that polygamy is the next step, accept leaders who have one wife, and then another wife, and then another wife, serially replacing a spouse with a younger and more attractive model. That is Not what is meant by marriage.
If the Republican Party wants to help restore morality to America, they need to start at home. Clean out the homosexuals and adulterers from their ranks. Try to find candidates who are not divorced, who are truly committed to family values. Reform starts at home.

Most of the citizens of America do not comprehend what is happening to their country. The changes we see in America did not happen overnight. We hear people remark over and over “It wasn’t like this when I was a kid!”, “What is happening to my country?”.
Today you can see that the Socialists are repeating the same strategy on Iraq they used on the Vietnam war, “Make the people think we are loosing the war, it is costing too much, etc.”. If the people of America would open their eyes they would see there are Socialists ALL AROUND THEM! The Democrats don’t deny they are Socialists, they just don’t talk about it too much. The Democratic Party was taken over by the Socialists subversives many years ago. Zell Miller said it best: “There are strangers living in my basement…” Those strangers took over the Democrat Party!!
The old “Frog in a pan of water” comparison fits very well to what is taking place. Our principals, our morality and our Constitution are under assault and half of the citizens of our country do not see it. Some of these “45 goals” being achieved are:
Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press
Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."
Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
“What is happening to my country” started over forty years ago. The changes to be made were charted out and documented in the: Communist Goals (1963). The many groups of Socialist front groups have achieved most of the items listed in the “Communists Goals”.
They are working with other socialist countries and for the UN. The goal is to damage the United States of America with every opportunity either real or made up. We must make the people see who the Socialists are and what they want to do to America.
Does anyone remember the phrase/term “Parliamentary Pirates” from the “1950s? The communists used every obscure rule and by law to take over union meetings and then the unions themselves. This is still happening today. The majority controlled by a minority.
We have to quit calling them “Progressive, Liberal, Left Wing, Democrats, “Rinos” etc”. They are SOCIALISTS DAMN IT!!!! Yes, “THEY” have been busy for YEARS! This is a perfect example of incrementalism, “Social or political gradualism”.
History tells us how this started. The Mc Carthy hearings were stopped before they were complete. The many “seeds” (read CELLS) were left to grow and multiply. Ronald Reagan and Walt Disney both testified at these hearings:

The young radicals of the 60’s were financed supported and directed by foreign communists/socialists. They have become college professors, teachers, lawyers, politicians, clergy, news and entertainment media and the business world elite. They are “educating” and recruiting our young for their replacements.
They have gotten environmental and regulatory control (NGO’s) over most businesses, resources of water, forests, oil, farming, ranching and mining in order to eliminate their profits and shut them down.
They are in the process of bankrupting the people and government with lawsuits, social programs, financing the UN and foreign countries, environmental programs and out-right GIVING money to socialist front (ACLU) groups which attack us.
They are eliminating our jobs as much as they can with the above methods and with foreign treaties and international laws.
If the people of America would open their eyes they would see there are Socialists ALL AROUND THEM! The Democrats don’t deny they are Socialists, they just don’t talk about it too much.
